TW: bit o' swearing, gore
Lockwood, Henry, Hammond, and Fred ran into the jungle, hoping not to run into any dinos, but this is Isla Sorna after all. The dinos broke out, so of course there ran in to one after some time right.
They ran into a clearing where there saw herds of galliumimus grazing peacefully when out of nowhere a Trex burst out of the trees and grabbed a galliumimus, yanking it up in to its mouth, crushing the gallimimus sending its insides flying every where.
Fred said as they crept along the treeline when they herd a terrible roar and saw the Giga burst through the foliage and roar at the rex. "Fuck!" Fred said.
"It looks like she gonna get herself killed!" Lockwood said.
The Giga Charged at the rex roaring as intimidation. The rex roared back charging at the charging Giga. The Giga bit the rex's neck making a lot of blood gushing down its neck. The Giga forced the rex to the ground, and snapped its neck.
They ran into the jungle to find two boys hiding in a tree. They called up to then and said, "Come down, we're going to the north dock so we can get out of here and back to the main land."
The boys jumped down and introduced themselves. "I'm Noah, and he's Benny."
The shorter one, Benny, said, "We climbed up here after a bad encounter with raptors, and the rest of our group perished, to dilos and compies."
The group then ran through the jungle, as they ran they found a stream heading north so they headed along it because they had to get to the north dock. They followed the stream to a river and waded along the river side.
They waded for a few hours and then climbed up the river bank to find themselves in a particularly marshy plot of land. They ended up waste deep in swamp water.
After about two hours of wading through alligator-infested waters, they found a spot with suspiciously- no gators. The silence wasn't broken for a few hours- and after a few more minutes more moments silence.
Once the silence broke something was off about the swamp birds they just sat there staring in to the dark abyss of water.
"Uh guys," Benny said. "Whats that shadow in the water?"
A large and long dark shadow swam past them, and then the 70 foot shadow was gone.
They waded farther into the swamp when they hit a deep stretch of water about 12 feet deep. They swam slowly across the 20 meter river-like section when suddenly Fred disappeared into the depths.
A large snake raised its head above the water its anoconda like appearance was no shock to the group of people; it was titanoboa .
Benny tread water, frozen in fear. He had just witnessed a 70 foot snake eat a person. The titanoboa just sat there looking into the horrified eyes of the group of now-traumatized people.
The snake then descended into the water. The group swam to the shore, hoping the titan snake would leave them alone. The snake swam into the distance. The group climbed up the shore escaping in to the wetlands.
That's all for now! See you next chapter!
