The group walked through the muddy wetlands. Bugs, birds, alligators, and snakes were not all a big problem for them.

"So what happened to you guys?" Henry asked.

"Well," Benny said. "My group was about to go on a field trip here from our school when the alarm went off. A Dilophosaurus killed one of my friends, Fiona. Our class ran into the hallway and exited the building. When we exited a pack of raptors attacked us." He paused. "Well, we ran, of course, but one of us died. Ryan. Four raptors circled him. One raptor grabbed his foot, another got his other, a third got his hand, and a fourth grabbed his other hand. They all rushed off in different directions, dislocating his arms and legs. Then, a fifth jumped onto him and gored in to his chest, splashing blood all along its face. "

"The raptor ripped through him while he was still alive. We ran as fast as we could into the jungle, but that was a bigger mistake because all the compies and dilos are. So we got picked off one by one. But this one kid Kate got it the worst," Benny continued.

"When we entered the jungle, Kate kicked a compy in the face. As we walked Kate was actively getting hunted. We heard a sound coming from behind us. There where about ninety compies staring right at Kate. They ran and jumped on them. Kate used they/them pronuons, by the way. They ran, but tripped into a riverbed and was swarmed, eaten alive by dozens of compies," Benny finished.

"Wow. You two have been through a lot," Henry said. Then, out of nowhere, they heard screams for help, and saw a boat being circled by a spinosaurus. Benny noticed that the people on it were people he knew; Aidan, Patrick, Conor and Ms.Perrink. The spino grabbed Ms.Perrink with its claws and ate her. Benny jumped in and swam at full speed out into the river.

"Let me up I know how to distract it," Benny shouted. Aidan threw down a ladder. Benny climbed up and looked for a flare gun. Benny found one and some flares. He ran to the steering wheel and shot the flare at the fifty foot giant. The spino roared and backed away.

"We didn't know you survived," Benny breathed, turning to the people he knew.

 "Wait WE?" Conor gasped.

"Yeah me and Noah hid in a tree. Everyone else died. I thought when you guys ran from the group you all got picked off," Benny replied. "Okay, according to this map, this river heads north. So if we follow it, we can reach the dock in about thirty-six hours. We don't have that time we only have twent hours till the boat leaves."

"Okay, there's a path we can take that will get us there in half the time, but it is marked EXTREME DANGER," Benny sighed.

"Okay we have guns, bows, crossbows and arrows so we should be good," Conor said.

Cliffhanger? Um... maybe? Idk. That's all for now. See you next chapter!!
