~ Chapter 3 : The Emotiongang ~

Saturday was always a good day to do something fun. Although, today, Father Gregor was thinking of a plan. A plan that will, hopefully, end Metamorpho's reign of terror on the town. After plenty of thinking, he chose to go talk to John and Jack. He did want to try to keep the kwamis out of it all, though, for their safety.

"I think it might be a good idea, Father Gregor." Tikki told the man. "Maybe that's how we can defeat Metamorpho! We just need some help!" "You have a point, Tikki." Gregor replied, slightly dusting off a column in the church. "I should be heading out in a minute. Make sure you take care of yourselves while I'm gone." "We will, don't worry, Father!" Wayzz, the turtle kwami, reassured Gregor. "If we are ever in trouble, one of us will try to find you."

"Thank you. I do apologize if I'm worrying too much. This town can be very dangerous, even outside of the situation." "Oh no, don't apologize for that! You're fine!" Tikki flew over, and gave the Father a gentle pat on his shoulder. "I think we'll be okay, though. You don't need to worry about us. We can even try to protect you if you're in trouble!" Father Gregor gave Tikki a small smile. "Alright. I'll go wait outside, see you guys later." Father Gregor started heading out, with all his little now-friends waving 'goodbye' to him.

"So, when's he coming back? I want cheese." Plagg spoke up, and some of the others groaned in response. Tikki looked over to the black cat, having an annoyed expression on her face, like how she usually has when Plagg speaks. "He'll probably be back soon, and maybe with cheese and snacks for the rest of us." "Yay!"

John and Jack were in their office, as usual. They were waiting for Father Gregor to visit, and talk to them about something they weren't exactly sure about. They figured it was something about the 'villain thing'. Jack tried to offer John a donut from his dozen box. "Want one?" "No, I'm fine." John replied.

Father Gregor arrived soon afterwards, greeting the duo. "Greetings, you two. I have something important I need to talk to you about." "Is it about what I think it's about?" John asked, taking the cigarette out of his mouth. "Yes, I believe so." Gregor let out a sigh, keeping himself together.

"So, I think I know what's going on. Not exactly, but sort of." Gregor started to explain. "I believe some kind of magical jewel or artifact is involved here." John perked up in shock. Before Father Gregor could explain more, he stopped him. "Wait a minute, wait a minute." The sheriff pulled out a notepad from his pocket, flipping through the pages. He then showed Gregor a page, with what seemed to be a rough sketch on it. Looking closer, it looked like some kind of brooch. That was it! The butterfly miraculous!

"We talked with Kevin, the candy guy yesterday. He told us that this 'Metamorpho' guy had some kind of glowing brooch on." Jack said, continuing to eat his strawberry frosted donut. "Do you think this could be the source of his powers or something? We've been trying to piece this all together for a while." Father Gregor took a second to respond. "Y-Yeah! Yeah, that could be it!" John looked back at the sketch he made, and started to think. "Alright, now we have a possible answer to that. But, we still need to figure out who is doing this, where he is, and how we can stop him. For now, you have to play the hero, Father."

"Will do, sheriff." Father nodded, and then Jack piped in. "Feel free to come to us if you need help! You don't have to do all of this alone. We would love to with all this going on." "If I do need it, I'll come to you guys. Thank you so much for the help you've already done, though." Father Gregor smiled at the two. He really was happy that they were going to be able to help out. "You're welcome! Now, is there anything else you want to talk to us about?" Jack asked once more. "Not sure what exactly, but I think we should talk more about this." "Alright, follow us, then." John walked out of the room, and his partner and Gregor followed right behind him.
