Grace and Kaden^^
Walking over to the stove, I pour in the cold noodles from the box, into the boiling water. After I set the timer on my phone, I debated saying anything about it to Alex. Deciding I want an explanation I sit next to him at the bar.
"Alex?" He turns his head in question.
"I was just texting Fawn...." His eyes go wide in alarm but quickly replace it with a shy smile.
"Okay, I'm sorry I lied." He said guiltily, slumping in his seat.
"Why did you?" Impatiently waiting for a response. He puts his phone down, turning it off in the process and turns his full body towards me.
"This morning when I ran into you and Corvin on the sidewalk, I was heading to one of my classes. But I saw the two of you walking alone, which in itself was confusing but I noticed you were stumbling around. So much to the point that he had to basically hold you up. So when Corvin asked if I could give you a ride, I made up that I was meeting Fawn here so you didn't feel bad." He pauses in case I wanted to say something, but I just stare at him waiting for the rest of the story.
"When we were in the car you began falling asleep and I tried to wake you up but nothing worked. And I remembered why sleeping was so rare for you." Sending a pointed look at me when he says that last bit. I had forgotten what Alex had witnessed a few nights ago. I was kind of hoping he had forgotten. I should've known better.
"I put you in bed and walked out. I stayed because I didn't think you should be alone after being in such a fucked-up state and I lied because I didn't want to make you uncomfortable."
"Who changed my clothes?" He looked confused for a moment and looked me up and down as if he was just realizing I was wearing different clothes from earlier.
"I don't know...maybe you woke up and changed?" He sits trying to think of a possible explanation.
"Honestly, that does sound like me."
He smiles, seemingly satisfied with my answer and turns back to his phone as the timer on mine begins ringing through the silence. I shut the alarm off and head over to my pot of boiled noodles.
After straining the water, and mixing in the ingredients, I grab two bowls from the cabinet. As I begin to fill the second bowl, Fawn walks through the door looking exhausted. She looks between the two of us and smiles when she sees Alex. Walking over to him she gives him a little peck on the lips and turns to me.
"PLEASE make me a bowl too. I'm STARVING!" She exclaims as she dramatically plops into the barstool next to Alex and lays her head on the counter. He looks at her with amusement in his eyes.
"Yes ma'am." I giggle as I grab another bowl from the cabinet, filling it up as well.

As we all ate our food, Alex explained everything that happened today and Fawn seemed to understand, thanking Alex for being so considerate and watching over me.
We all piled up in the living room and put on Lilo and Stitch, my suggestion, and watched it about three quarters of the way through until I decided to call it a night and head to bed. I told the two of them goodnight and made my way upstairs.
I'm assuming Alex is staying the night again, which I have no problem with. He's stayed the night for the past three nights so I'm assuming they are getting serious. I'm happy for them.

The next few days fly by in a blur. Everything seems to be a constant cycle repeating over and over again. Wake up, go to class after class, come home, change and go to work, get home late, shower, eat, go to sleep, repeat. Day after day. It's exhausting.
