sharing the bed

A/n: this is one of my faves!

"I've gotta WHAT?!" Naruto screeched.

"Please don't yell," the tired Kakashi sighed and leaned on the wall.

"Kakashi-Sensei... why do I have to be with him?" He groaned, pointing to Sasuke.

"For the third time now, Naruto. The only hotel rooms left are three. One for me, one for Sakura, so you and Sasuke have to share"

"Stop being so annoying, Naruto. I don't want to sleep near you either. You probably snore and talk in your sleep. Let's just go and get some shut eye for the night," Sasuke said as he began walking towards their room only to be stopped by Sakura.

"Oh, Sasuke-kun don't worry, if you don't wanna stay with Naruto you can always come, and sleep with me~ I don't snore or kick, but I will warn you that I like to cuddle" she said with a wink, and stars and hearts in her eyes.

Sasuke's eyebrows furrowed. "I'd rather slit my own throat," he stated, then walked past her.

Naruto grumbled but stomped his way into the room as well.

Naruto flopped down on the bed. He listened to the sound of water, which meant Sasuke was showering. Naruto paused. His jaw dropped, and he hopped up. "One bed?!" He shouted.

He ran out of their room and to Kakashi's room. He skidded across the carpet and knocked twice on the male's door.

There was the sound of footsteps coming closer to the door, then that of a lock unlatching.

Kakashi boredly opened the door to see Naruto.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Our room has one bed, Kakashi-Sensei!" He shouted.

"Again with the shouting... I'm sure I bought the last two bedroom they had..." he said, fishing through his pockets for the receipt.

He pulled it out of his pocket and read aloud; "Ahem, it says right here that oh... nevermind."

Naruto fummed, muttering curses while Kakashi chuckled sheepishly.

"Well, it's already been paid for now, so nothing I can do. You go get some sleep, Naruto, " Kakashi said, then shut the door.

Naruto growled, walking back to the room now feeling hopeless.

He entered the room to see Sasuke with a towel around his waist going through his bag desperately.

"I know I brought it...!" He muttered.

Naruto cocked an eyebrow. "Hm? Brought what?" He asked.

Sasuke sighed in defeat and lowered his head until his bangs fell over his eyes.

"I forgot to bring my night wear. I just brought... underwear"

Naruto stiffled a laugh until he remembered he and Sasuke were sharing a bed.

"Well sucks to be you today, teme" Naruto giggled anyways.

Sasuke grumbled a few incoherent words under his breath.

Soon enough, Naruto was too shaking his bag empty looking for his pajamas.

"Noooo!" He shouted.

Sasuke, who was sitting on the bed wearing his skin tight boxer-breifs now chuckled.

"Guess it just sucks to be you today, dobe" he recited.

Naruto growled, but laid down next to Sasuke wearing only underwear.  "It's so cold. How is it this cold on a summer night?" Naruto whispered.
