This oneshot took place after episode 52 (when Naruto found Sasuke). I just thought of this... thought that this is more like Sasuke than the Sasuke I've been writing

Sasuke was enraged. Naruto had the nerve and the gal to show up all these years with that silly little dream of taking the raven back to the leaf.

There was just no way. Sasuke was in a commitment now.

It had been nearly three years since he had seen Naruto. Three years of training, blood, sweat, and tears. The only reason Sasuke was alive was to avenge his clan. That's it, and that's all.

That's Sasuke's only life purpose and only goal.

The perky blond is a fool in Sasuke's eyes.

Sasuke sat in the cold, dark chambers of Orochimaru's hideout and thought about those things. In fact, Sasuke was often caught thinking about Naruto (I mean... who else was he going to think about? Orochimaru? Kabuto musky ass?)

The blonde loner, rejected by everyone for something inside of him he never wanted in the first place. To everyone else, Naruto was as open as a book. Yes, it is an open book with ten pages. But to Sasuke, Naruto couldn't be more mysterious than a closed book with no title. 9

Naruto was a mysterious little fox who wore a mask every day, a mask with a big smile and bright blue eyes, and everyone seemed to ignore it beside Sasuke.

But Sasuke managed to open that book. He became Naruto's rival, then his best friend. They shared to many heart-felt moments together that they could relate to each other with simply a look. Sasuke Uchiha did, in fact, love the blonde at some point. They related on so many levels that it was almost like Naruto was his soulmate

'But that's all in the past now,' Sasuke Uchiha, presently thought.

Sasuke Uchiha moved on, however. Or at least tried to. Sasuke still finds himself thinking about the gorgous blonde. The tan skin, the diamond blue eyes, the femenin, yet masculin body shape... sometimes, Sasuke, in fact, finds himself all hot and bothered from those images in his brain.

- Present -

Sasuke wondered the area. Since Naruto showed up, now Orochimaru switched locations again.

Sasuke found himself drawn to a small river that led to a small waterfall Sasuke sighed and kneeled before the water, looking deep inside of it.

Sasuke shut his eyes, and drew out his sword, swiveling around beyond the eyes tracking abilities, and held his swords tip to the head of a little light orange colored fox, no bigger than a baby chihuahua, with the chrystally-est blue eyes ever. They were filled with emotions.

Sasuke groaned, placed his blade away, and then shuued off the little fox.

The fox stayed. And stared at Sasuke with pleading eyes. Sasuke ignored it, dipped his hands down into the water, and then splashed it on his face. When he stood up  and turned around again, the little fox was still sitting there, staring up at Sasuke.

Sasuke sensed no chakra from the little animal. So it couldn't have been a spy or bomb. All together, the little fox was innocent, so Sasuke decided it would be wrong of him to end his life.

Sasuke walked towards base as he heard a twig behind him snap. He drew his blade again, and yet it was only the little fox again.

Sasuke was now growing agitated. What did the little fox want?
