Chloe and Takashi are out walking when they pass by the Yukata factory and they notice a strange flier.
Takashi: This is the factory where they produce Yukata.
Chloe: Wow! They don't have anything like this in Germany!
Chloe notices the flier
Chloe: What is that flier?
Takashi: Apparently, it's advertising free Nutella, but I'm not sure if we can trust it
Chloe: Why not?
Takashi: It has grammatical errors, so it's probably not an official flier.
Chloe: Also it has a weird picture.
Takashi: Yeah, the picture of a sculpture. Sculptures are not typically trustworthy. They are inanimate objects that cannot be held accountable for their actions.
Chloe is confused by what Takashi said, but her Japanese is not very good, so she assumes she just misunderstood him, or maybe he was joking.
Takashi: In addition, the statue is not even a real animal. It is a representation of two animals, which means that it is not even capable of independent thought or action.
Chloe: Right...A man walks up to them. He looked like he was putting some fliers in his backpack.
Daniel Mongra: If you are looking for a trustworthy source of information, I would recommend looking elsewhere. A random flier is not a reliable source of information, and it is not something that you should trust.
Chloe: Who can we trust?
Daniel Mongra: You can trust me, Daniel Mongra!
Takashi: Oh, a foreigner! What brings you to Japan?
Daniel Mongra: Work. Now do you like Nutella?
Chloe: I love Nutella!
Daniel Mongra: That flier was put there by my co-worker, he is not good at his job. *That's a lie.* He has been creating low quality fliers.
Takashi: Is it true that you are giving away free Nutella?
Daniel Mongra: It's not exactly free... It actually costs 10 box tops per jar, which is far below market value.
Chloe: I want Nutella!
Takashi: We don't have any box tops.
Daniel Mongra: Don't worry if you don't have any box tops, friends! If you sign our petition we will give you 10 box tops for free!
Chloe: You are so nice!
Takashi: I don't think we should trust him.
Chloe: You are no fun, Takashi! He's a nice guy giving out Nutella!
Daniel Mongra: If you come with me around the corner, you can sign the petition and get your box tops and Nutella!
Takashi: He is offering to let you buy some Nutella, but you don't know his name or address. This is a high-value item, and it would be easy for him to disappear without giving you the Nutella. Additionally, you don't know anything about his background or intentions. For all you know, he could be a scammer or a thief stealing your personal information.
Daniel Mongra: I don't think you should take this guy seriously, he keeps saying strange things!
Chloe: You think so too? I don't know if he's weird or if he's joking.
Takashi: I am fully serious. I do not trust this guy.
Chloe: C'mon Takashi, I trust him, he won't scam us!
Takashi: If you're sure, I will trust you Chloe, but don't blame me if anything happens. They walk with Daniel Mongra around the corner.
