Prologue

The Land Of Grogon.......

Cleopatra's POV

In a world full of darkness, and gothic lifestyles, where would you find anyone smiling? If you wanted to look for happiness here, you're in the wrong place. You my friend, are in Grogon, a realm where vampires like myself roam. The sun is rare here, as relentless rains fall from the sky. I was born and bred here. My mother always told me that no matter where I go, Grogon will always be my home.

As I stand in my abode, gazing at the sky's tears pelting on the ground, I think to myself. Where in the world would I relocate to? This sad kingdom is just cramping my style. Everyone around here is just stressed. I want to move to a land that is happy. My parents are no longer alive, and I have no siblings.

Where would a melancholy soul like me wind up? Do I want to live the rest of my life in a cesspool like Grogon? If my mother was still and heard me say that, I would have slapped six ways to Sunday. Any of the inhabitants are not speak ill of their birthplace. Grogon was founded by Lord Jezrot in 1671. The Gothic and Vampire War which was fought between 1675 and 1677 was a brutal one. A lot of vampires soldiers refused to enlist in fighting in the war, but they had no other choice. It was either fight or die. General Hith Sturges, was the leader of the Gothic Army. He showed no mercy to the vampires. My great grandfather passed away, while serving in the way. He made the ultimate sacrifice. He died before I was born. Thankfully, the Gothic troops surrendered in 1677, which ended the war.

I hope you guys liked the history lesson. It's important that if anyone ever wants to visit my land, you gotta know the history of my people. But, I shall leave Grogon to start a new life. I have decided that I will move to the beautiful state of South Carolina.

I started to pack my clothes. I said good bye to everyone here. There was no turning back. I was now leaving Grogon. No more of this dark and gloomy life. I endured it long enough.
