Sarah (Protagonist)

Sarah is a woman in her mid-30s, intelligent, caring, and fiercely loyal to her family. She has built her life around her marriage to David, trusting him completely and believing that their relationship was founded on love and partnership. Sarah is practical and routine-driven, enjoying the comforts of a structured life. Despite her love for David, she's had moments of loneliness during his frequent business trips, though she never questioned his loyalty—until now. When she discovers David's double life, her world is shattered, forcing her to confront not just the betrayal but also her identity. The story follows Sarah's emotional journey from heartbreak to self-discovery as she learns to rebuild her life from the ashes of his lies.

Personality Traits: Loyal, empathetic, determined, reflective, and emotionally resilient.

Strengths: Inner strength, adaptability, and the ability to grow through pain.

Weaknesses: Tendency to place others' needs above her own, initially too trusting and dependent on her marriage for her sense of self-worth.

David (Antagonist/Husband)

David is a charismatic, charming man in his late 30s who has perfected the art of deception. Outwardly, he appears to be the ideal husband: successful in his business, attentive, and seemingly devoted to Sarah. However, underneath the surface, David has been living a double life for years, maintaining two families without either woman knowing about the other. His ability to compartmentalize and manipulate those around him allows him to maintain the facade of a perfect life. David's motivations for leading this double life stem from a deep need for control and admiration, thriving on the illusion of being a great husband in two different worlds. He's been living in the thrill of juggling both relationships, but when his lies unravel, his darker, manipulative side emerges.

Personality Traits: Charming, manipulative, egotistical, calculating, and emotionally detached.

Strengths: Deceptive charm, ability to manipulate others, and expert at maintaining secrets.

Weaknesses: Lack of empathy, inability to truly connect with others, and ultimately, his arrogance blinds him to the consequences of his actions.

Jessica (The "Other Wife")

Jessica is a warm, nurturing woman in her early 30s. She has two young children with David and has always believed she was in a loving, committed relationship. She is soft-spoken but strong, with a deep sense of responsibility toward her family. Like Sarah, she is blindsided when she discovers that David has been living a double life. Jessica's world collapses, but unlike Sarah, she is more vulnerable because of the children involved. Her love for David runs deep, but her feelings of betrayal cut even deeper. Throughout the story, Jessica evolves from being a victim of David's lies to an empowered woman who seeks to reclaim control over her life. She forms an unexpected bond with Sarah, and through their shared trauma, they find strength in each other.

Personality Traits: Compassionate, maternal, trusting, but also quietly strong.

Strengths: Deep empathy, protective instincts for her children, and emotional resilience.

Weaknesses: Overly trusting of David, and slower to confront the truth than Sarah due to her initial shock and family concerns.
