Third person's P.O.V:
Jimin stood in front of Jungkook’s house, his heart fluttering nervously in his chest. He held two small, brightly decorated box of cookies in his hands, the sweet aroma wafting up to his nose. He pressed the doorbell, and it took only a moment before the door swung open, revealing Jungkook's mom.
She looked like an older version of Jungkook, with the same doe-like eyes. Her hair was neatly styled, and she was dressed smartly in her work clothes, a sleek blazer and blouse that showed her poised, professional look. Yet, her face softened immediately when she saw Jimin.
"Jiminie!" she greeted warmly, pulling him into a gentle hug. "It's always such a delight to see you." Jimin returned the hug, a shy smile brightening his face.
"Hi, Auntie. I... I brought some cookies for you and Kookie." He held out the neatly wrapped box, looking a little bashful. She smiled warmly, accepting the cookies and giving him an affectionate pat on the shoulder. "Thank you, sweetheart! You're so thoughtful," she said, glancing knowingly at the box.
"And cookies, hmm? That sounds like someone's trying to make peace with my mopey son upstairs."Jimin bit his lip, nodding a little shyly. "Well... he's upset with me. I just wanted to make sure he's okay." Jungkook's mom chuckled softly, a teasing smile gracing her lips. "Oh, honey, you know he could never stay upset with you for long." She stepped aside to let Jimin in, glancing at her watch.
"I've got to head out to the office, but you know the way. Go on up, sweetheart, and work your magic."
"Thank you, Auntie." Jimin said and headed up the familiar staircase. As he walked, he could feel his nerves bubbling up again, but he pushed them down, focusing instead on what he hoped the cookies would convey.
He pushed open the door to Jungkook's room quietly, peeking in to find Jungkook sitting at his desk, headphones on, completely absorbed in his game. The soft glow from the screen illuminated his face, casting shadows that accentuated his sharp features. Jungkook's fingers moved swiftly over the controls, his focus unwavering as he talked to his teammates over the mic, his voice low and intense.
For a moment, Jimin hesitated, taking in the sight of Jungkook. Even with his casual clothes, Jungkook looked effortlessly hot, his broad shoulders muscular arms and tattooes are on full display. His hair was slightly messy, falling into his eyes, but he didn't seem to mind. Jimin's gaze lingered, admiring the way Jungkook's jaw clenched as he concentrated, the strength in his hands as he gripped the controller. He couldn't help but feel a little flustered as he watched, his heart fluttering at the sight of Jungkook lost in his own world.
Stepping inside, he quietly moved to sit on the edge of Jungkook's bed, clutching the box of cookies in his lap. The silence stretched between them, but he couldn't tear his gaze away. Just then, Jungkook's eyes flickered toward him, acknowledging his presence with a brief glance before refocusing on the game. He didn't say anything, but Jimin could sense a faint shift in his demeanor—an awareness of Jimin's presence even as he pretended to be entirely absorbed. Jimin felt a little pang of disappointment.
He fidgeted with the edge of the cookie box, glancing back at Jungkook, who remained focused on his game. The silence between them was heavy, punctuated only by the soft clicks of Jungkook's controller. He seemed determined not to acknowledge Jimin just yet, which only made Jimin more anxious.
After a few more moments, Jungkook finally finished his game, pulling off his headphones with a slight sigh. He still didn't look directly at Jimin, instead reaching over to set his controller down. Jimin bit his lip, feeling a little nervous. This wasn't how he had hoped things would go, but he knew he needed to break the ice. "I, uh, I made cookies, I thought you might like them." he said softly, holding out the box with a tentative smile.
