Third person's P.O.V:

Jungkook lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling, lost in thought. He didn't know what was going on with him lately. Jimin was his best friend—had been for as long as he could remember. They shared countless memories, growing up side by side, inseparable through all of life's twists and turns. But recently, something had shifted. He tried to shrug it off, to tell himself it was nothing, but it wasn't that easy. It was like every time he looked at Jimin, something tugged at his chest, an unfamiliar warmth that made him feel both excited and uneasy. Sure, he had always loved Jimin; that was a given. But now, whenever he was around, Jungkook felt his heart race in ways it never had before.

He remembered the way Jimin looked yesterday. They had been laughing, rolling around on the bed like they always did. But then, there was a moment—so brief and yet so intense—where he'd found himself leaning closer, his eyes locked onto Jimin's lips. Those soft, pouty lips that seemed to beg to be kissed, that almost drew him in without him even realizing it. he couldn't help but notice how Jimin's shorts had ridden up just a bit, revealing more of his pale skin. He'd looked so pretty, so… tempting.

What confused him most was how much he noticed the small things now. He had always thought Jimin looked angelic, but now it felt different. It was more than just thinking he was beautiful. When Jimin laughed, he looked like an angel. And when he pouted, it took everything Jungkook had not to close the distance and kiss him right then and there. The way Jimin would look up at him, those big, innocent eyes filled with trust and warmth, made his chest tighten. He was helpless against it.

He ran a frustrated hand through his hair, trying to shake off the thoughts that seemed to consume him. He knew it wasn't right to feel this way. They were best friends, and he didn't want to ruin that. But the way he felt about Jimin now wasn't something he could ignore. The truth was, he didn't know when things had started to change. All he knew was that whenever he was around Jimin, he felt an ache he couldn't explain. He wanted to protect him, hold him close, and never let go. And sometimes, when he watched Jimin laughing, smiling, or even just talking, he wanted more.

"Damn it," he muttered to himself, shifting on the bed as if it would somehow change what he was feeling. He didn't want to admit it, not even to himself, but he knew that if yesterday Jimin had leaned in just a little closer, he would have kissed him. He wanted to kiss him so badly that it scared him. He felt his pulse quicken just thinking about it, about what it would be like to press his lips against Jimin's, to taste the sweetness of his mouth, to feel Jimin's warmth.

He felt like he was betraying Jimin's trust, his purity, with these thoughts. Jimin deserved someone who could look at him without a hint of selfishness, someone who wouldn't think of crossing that line. But it was already too late. He was falling for Jimin, moment by moment, and he didn't know how to stop it.

With a heavy sigh, he closed his eyes, memories of Jimin's laughter and smile flooding his mind. He didn't know what he was going to do, but he knew there was no going back now.

                              ——

In class, Jimin sat by the window, looking as cute as ever with his soft curls framing his face and his cheeks just slightly puffed out as he focused on his notes. Tae leaned over, nudging him lightly. "Hey, Jiminie! How about we go shopping today?"

Jimin pouted, glancing up with those big, innocent eyes."I don't think so, Tae. kookie doesn't like going home alone… he'll get all moody if I'm not there."

Taehyung rolled his eyes giving a huff. "I swear, Jiminie, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you were married to him or something! It's just one shopping trip! My birthday's tomorrow—don't tell me you're ditching me for Mr. Tall and Broody?"

Jimin's cheeks turned pink, and he shook his head quickly. "No! It's just… you know how he gets…"

Hobi smirked, leaning in with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Oh, we know, alright. You're totally whipped. But come on, Tae's right....it's his birthday!"

Taehyung made a sad face, pulling Jimin's small hand. "Yeah, minnie, don't you love us, too? I mean, Jungkook's great and all, but are you seriously going to let me face the mall alone?"

Jimin's defenses melted under his friends teasing, and he finally broke into a smile. "Fine, fine! I'll come!but I should let kookie know first."

"Ah, you have to tell him in person, huh?" Taehyung teased, nudging Jimin gently. "You really can't be away from him for even a little while."

Jimin's cheeks flushed, his lips pressing into a pout as he glanced away, embarrassed. "It's not like that," he mumbled, looking down at his shoes. "I just... I don't want him worrying or anything."

Taehyung crossed his arms, mock pouting. "It’s my birthday tomorrow, and here I am, having to share my best friend with his not-even-official-yet boyfriend."

Jimin's eyes went wide, and he sputtered, "What....he's not!..... Tae, don't say that!" He nudged Taehyung lightly, his cheeks turning a deeper shade of pink.

Hobi laughed, reaching over to pinch Jimin's cheek. "Just go, cutie. But make sure you tell him we're kidnapping you for a while. He'll survive… probably."

Jimin stuck his tongue out at them before heading toward the door. "Fine! You guys are so mean…" he said stucking his tongue out at them before heading toward the door.

To be continued.....
