7. CONVINCED

Atharv's pov

I went to the office. And headed towards my cabin after parking my car.

All the way to the office, I was thinking about the words my grand parents said.

And in the cabin too I was thinking about that only, suddenly my cabin door opens and here comes my  not so very intelligent friend RUHAAN GILL.

He barged into my cabin and sat on the very front seat of mine  royally.

Tujhe knock krna nhi aata kya? Aise kaise bhi andar aa jata hai? koi kaam waan nahi hai na tere pass (don't you know hiw to knock? How can you come in like this? Don't you have any work?) Atharv said to Ruhaan was smiling like a creep.

Ab apni creepy si smile dena band kar. (Stop with your creepy smile). Said Atharv

Ruhan says, "kya bhai tu bhi mere bhai jigri dost ka cabin hai mai to aise hi aaunga" (what's the scene with you this is my brother's my best friend's cabin I'll be coming like this only)

Ruhaan continues: by the way what were you thinking? Is there something happened?

He sighed and said I don't know yaar! Everyone is telling me to get married. I don't know what I to do😕.

Ruhaan sigh and says: don't worry bro kar le saadi. (Get married) the moment he said this Atharv started staring him and said him continue.

Further he continues like "saadi karne se naa to tera ko nuksaan ho raha hai or na hi koi fayda to dikkat kya hai , ulta tujhe ek companion mil jayega to teri care krega jiske liye tu care karega kya hi problem hai"? (If by getting married neither you are suffering any harm nor any benefit, then what is the problem, on the contrary you will find a companion who will take care of you, for whom you will care, what is the problem?)

Atharv who was listen carefully thinks about all these words said by his grandparents and his best friend.

Then atharv says: " Bhai saadi karne se problem nahi hai. Mai bas yeh soch raha hu ki kya mai unhe khush rakh paunga? kya mai unhe utna pyar or attention de paunga? Mujhe samajh nahi aaraha mai kya karu? saadi badi baat nahi hai balki usse nibhana badi baat hai. Or saadi karne ke baad responsibility badh jati hai. Agar mai un responsibilities ko nahi nibha paya to kya hoga?

(Bhai, there is no problem in getting married. I am just thinking whether I will be able to keep them happy? Will I be able to give them that much love and attention? I don't understand what I should do? Getting married is not a big deal but fulfilling it is a big deal. And after getting married the responsibilities increase. What will happen if I am not able to fulfill those responsibilities?) 

Hearing all this Ruhaan says: achha bhai tu mujhe ek baat bata, kya tujhe pata tha ki tu ek din India ka best fashion company ka owner hoga? Kya tujhe is field me aane wahi saari problems pehle se pata thi? Nahi tujhe saari chize experience karte karte aayi waise hi jb tk tu saadi nahi krega tujhe pata  kaise chalega it will work or not!?
(Ohk bhai! tell me one thing, did you know that one day you will be the owner of India's best fashion company? did you know beforehand about all the problems of coming into this field? no you have been experiencing all the things, anyway until you will not get married then how will you know it will work or not!?)

Atharv thinks about this whole day and went to his home early then usual.

Atharv's pov

After reaching home I went towards my room and headed toward the bathroom to get a cold shower as only a cold shower will calm my nerves and I can think properly.

After having a bath I wore a black short pant and a black tshirt

After that I checked few e-mails and headed downstairs for dinner.

As I entered the dining area delicious food smell hit my nostrils.

I went and take my usual shit and we all started having our dinner.

While eating dadu says: " Kuchh sochha yaa nahi? (Thought something or not?) I nodded my head and he saw me telling me to continue and I said YES I'M READY FOR MARRIAGE.

The moment I said this everyone's mouth was hung open like they are still processing my words but I saw dadu he had a satisfying smile on his face like I took the correct decision.

Then chachi says: didi to ladki dekha suru karte hai ab der nahi nahi karenge kya pata iska man badal jaye. (Didi, let's start after seeing the girl, now we won't delay, who knows he might change his mind.) And everyone started laughing and my cute little penguins I mean my siblings started shouting like
"Bhabhi aayengi bhabhi aayengi" (Sister-in-law will come sister-in-law will come")

And then Dhruvik says "ab bhabhi ko aane do phir dekhiyega badi maa bhaiya kaise badal jaate hai phir to bs bhabhi ka naam hi zuban pe rahega inke jaise aapka or maa naam bade papa or papa ke zubaan par rehta hai".
(Now let sister-in-law come, then we will see how bhaiya changes badi maa , then only sister-in-law's name will remain on his lips just like your and maa's name remains on bade papa and papa's lips).

His words made me blush but when I saw in front of me I saw maa and chachi were also blushing and papa and chachu had a proud smile on their lips.

And with all these banters we finished our dinner and I went into my room.
Well I too was happy with my decision.

I know now I should unlock a new chapter of my life.
