Looking back, there are plenty of good times we've had.I remember us laying side by side,Your head next to mine,Looking up to the stars.Your laugh, so angelic, so pure.
Her touch, warmth in the cold of night.I remember you laughing at a jokeI don't remember telling. Your eyes, like oceans I often get lost in.Your smile, the cutest I've ever seen. Now those same memories feel Distant and cold, like a fading echo left behind. Now I stare at the sky alone,Wondering how the same starsCould feel so far.
Your laugh now haunts me, A distant echo of what's gone.Your touch, A warmth I'll never feel again. Now silence fills the space where laughter once livedAnd the joke is lost, Just like you.
Now those eyes seem likeDistant shores,Unreachable and obscured by the fog of time. Now your smile is a ghostly Vision,A reminder of what used to be butCan never be touched again, sadly.
I cherish the warmth of our shared laughter,Each moment felt like a dream come true.Every sunrise with you was a new chapter,And the world seemed bright with skies so blue.We danced through the days with hearts so light,Every touch felt like a perfect delight.
That same laughter tortures me so,Every memory, a reminder of what was.Every sunset I take another blow, Now I question the world for a cause.Dancing alone, all I feel is fright,For love is the only thing to kill and keep you alive.
