I'll wreck your mind and haunt your thoughts. I'll consume your soul and tear you apart. Expect no mercy, for I am no God. I'm the Pariah, so fear my wrath.

The wind that night flew by with an ominous message. A forewarning. A new era was coming into existence. A true power was going to be re-established.
"It can't be him, can it?"
"Don't you see the eyes, it's definitely him!"
"But, that's impossible!"
"Not in his case..."
Several hushed voices embraced them as she once again drifted away from him, taking advantage of the extra length of the heavy metal chain, only to be pulled back again. At one point, she fell on the ground scraping her knees. Her skin tore, causing her to bleed. The blood trickled from her torn skin, coloring her white dress that reached just below her knees.
Flicking her gaze towards the merciless monster, she tried to block her sobs, resulting in her choking. Tears gushed forth her eyes for a hundredth time that night.
He grinned at her stance, pushing himself down to whisper in her ear in his ever-gravelly voice, "Keep that up," referring to her failed attempts at putting distance between them, "and I shall tie this shackle around your neck like a noose. I believe that'd be something less humiliating for you?"
She gasped. Her lips quivered in fear of his threat and tears re-emerged in her swollen eyes that he so seemed to take pleasure in.
"Tight enough for you to not breathe...," his hand came down to push the dirty white locks away from her face in a tender manner, a complete contradiction to his words, "but I will not let you die. Just let you have a taste of it. Sounds fantastic, doesn't it?"
Standing back up with his taut figure, he yanked at her shackles in a signal to follow him like a good slave that she was. It was enough for her to drag her body from the ground and follow after him in complete silence, except for her sputtering sobs and the strange creatures' horrifying whispers.
"Who is that human?"
"I pity her."
The whispers grabbed her attention once again to the crowd. After he had announced her of his claim upon her in that abandoned mansion, she felt the loss of her soul from her body once again, and the next instant, they had transported to this place she didn't know existed at all, but the residents weren't human, she figured, as the first man in a street, dimly lit up with lights took one look at her Captor with his transparent eyes and disappeared within a flash, leaving behind him a puff of smoke. Soon, several others teemed out of their homes with snake-like skins and clawed hands, others with fangs like that of her prisoner but less scarier, until a crowd started to walk behind. Most of them dispersed back in fear, running away from him, while a few daringly followed him, grasped by the whips of curiosity.
None dared to get too close to him, keeping at least a few meters of distance from them, making her wonder who exactly her prisoner was that made the monsters she never even could have dared to watch in a movie pity her. The more they walked, surrounded by the strange creatures, the more she leaned towards her prisoner, almost instinctively, walking closely behind him, while the image of her dead friend haunted her. From the corner of her eyes, she could feel his eyes, lips lifted in a wicked smirk. He was satisfied with her obedience..., for now.
