*in this chapter I 'diagnose' Hope with something that idk if it can happen in the HP universe, I just though it would be funny*

*Lupin p.o.v*

and so the next day, after we dropped Teddy at his godparents' Dora and I drove to the magical hospital, we could have appeared next to it but we didn't want to go through any risks with our baby, so instead we rented a muggle car and I drove to the hospital

once we arrived there we went into the reception and I asked:

"the werewolf department please?"

the lady sitting at the desk looked up at me and said:

"third floor on the right when you get out of the elevator sir"

I smiled to her and thanked her before grabbing my wife's hand and walking to the elevators:

"I'm very nervous Dora" I whispered to her while we waited, she looked at me and said:

"everything is going to be okay wolfy, I can sense it" I chuckled at that and replied:

"very appropriate of you to call me that now"

she laughed and said:

"well who knows, maybe in a couple of hours I'll have two wolfies"

I rolled my eyes as I brought her closer to me to feel her warmth and to see if I could get some of the strength she seemed to have

a couple of minutes later, we were knocking on the door of the doctor responsible of were wolfs:

"come in" we heard from inside, so Dora opened it and asked:

"may we come in doctor?"

"yeah yeah of course" he answered, so the three of us came in and when he saw me he stood up and said:

"Lupin my old friend! how's everything going? is that new potion that I gave you better than the last? are you okay?"

I nodded as I shock his hand and said:

"yeah the one you gave me last is better, thanks" I stopped and looked at Dora and did the presentations: "Luke this is my wife Dora, and dear, he's doctor Luke Montgomery, probably the best were wolf doctor I've ever met"

they said hi to each other and the doctor then asked:

"so tell me what are you doing here?"

I pointed at my daughter and said:

"well yesterday was a full moon as you may know, and she didn't transform or anything but she was weird, like she wouldn't stop moving and crying, and when se feel asleep she kept making some funny faces" I looked back at my daughter to see her doing the exact same faces, so I told the doctor "those actual same faces"

he looked down at her and looked at her in silence, then looked at us and sat back down with a serious face:

"what's her name Remus?"

"Hope" I answered sitting down as well

"she didn't make those faces before right?" he said looking at Dora now, who was already sat down

she shocked her head and said:

"no, yesterday was the first time she did it"

the doctor nodded and kept writing on his computer

after a while, he stopped and looked at us with a little smile before saying:

"well, as you can see this was very fast"

Dora and I looked at each other frowning and I asked:

"what do you mean? you know what happens to her just with the little information that we gave you?"

he laughed and said:

"yeah, that's what happens when you've seen the same things for some years, you already know what they mean and what it is"

there was some time where no one said anything until I said:

"please! tell us already!"

"she's not a were wolf Remus, what happens is that she inherited a very strong sense of smell from you, that's why she keeps doing that with her nose, because she keeps smelling everything at the same time, meaning that she can smell from the food you're making till the poop a dog in the street just did, but that's the only she has of a were wolf"

"really?" I asked on the verge of tears after a while of trying to get my head around it "are you completely sure?"

the doctor nodded and said:

"I wouldn't lie about something  this important to you Remus"

Dora started crying and so did I, the doctor stood up and went around the table as he said:

"come here man"

I stood up and gave him a hug:

"congrats man, you deserve all of this"

I patted his back  couple of times and then turned to my wife, I knelt next to her and our daughter and whispered:

"you did amazing honey, you're the best"

Dora smiled and I wiped her tears away, I leaned closer and gave her a kiss ad said:

"I can't wait to see what the future holds for us"

she chuckled and answered:

"yeah me neither"

I sat down at the chair again before the doctor said:

"okay well I'll print everything and then you're free to go"

we nodded and smiled at him:

"thanks doctor" Dora said smiling widely

--- time skip to them at the Potter's house ---

when we arrived half an hour later at the Potter's house, they invited us in and when we sat down at their living room 

we left Hope in a crib that we installed there when Teddy was a baby and they had kept in there, and then they asked us:

"so how did it go?"

Dora and I smiled and she said:

"she's not a were wolf, she just inherited from Remus a very strong sense of smell"

Harry and Ginny smiled and told us:

"well that's very good, I'm so happy for you!"

"thanks" Dora and I said at the same time

soon Teddy came inside and when he saw us he ran to us and said:

"Mommy, Daddy, look what Uncle Harry gave me"

both of us looked at him and when he came back in he was holding a little broom

I opened my eyes widely and Dora said between laughs:

"Harry! you don't know what you've done do you?"

"no he clearly doesn't" I said laughing

Teddy tapped my arm and told me:

"Daddy, he told me that he wouldn't teach me how to fly, because he wanted you to do it,  so can we go to the garden now please?"

I thought about it but Dora said:

"go out with him Remus"

"you can go too Harry" Ginny said "Dora and I can stay here talking about girl's stuff"

"okay" both Harry and I said as we stood up

I turned to my wife, gave her a kiss on the lips and told her:

"see you later hon, have fun"

she smiled at me and said:

"you too honey"
