Mikhael's POV

I'm currently in 9th grade as it's my first month and I am a transferee here at the International School Manila (ISM). I went to kindergarten, elementary to 7th and 8th grade in Australia. I don't have any friends so I always sit at the end; I'm not bullied by anyone because I'm always watched by my personal body guards who always stand at the door of our classroom when I have class. The school agreed to let me bring a body guard with me and I didn't like that, that's the reason why I don't have any friends. Why? Because they are afraid of my two personal body guards, yeah they're intimidating.

Today is Wednesday so my class schedule is 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. I felt sorry for my personal guards because they had been standing there for hours. I ain't not bored when I go to school even though I don't have any friends because I love studying.

One time when I got home from school, I went straight to dad's office to talk to him.

"Dad, I wanna go to school without my bodyguard around" I said to dad and I felt very nervous.

"Why, Mikhael anak?" Dad asked and looked at me.

"I don't have any friends. They are all afraid of my guards and one thing also, They stand there for 6 hours everyday in a month, I feel bad" I said and bowed to dad because I was nervous to look into his eyes.

"Sige anak, sasabihin ko sakanila na ihatid ko na lamang bukas" Dad said.

"Thank you, dad" and he smiled at me.

The morning after that, I entered early and did not have a personal body guard by my side. I sat where I always sat because that was my favorite place. It's still early so there aren't any students inside our classroom. As soon as I sat down, someone came up to me.

"Hi, I'm Ayara! Nakaupo ako sa harapan kung hindi mo napapansin, nice to meet you!" She said and offered her hands to me. I stared at her hand and she stared at it too.

"Ay sorry, madumi ba?" She asked and wiped her hand on the uniform she was wearing.

"Mikhael" I said and gladly accepted her hands. Her skin is warm and her hand is very soft. She pulled the chair next to me and she sat on it.

"Napansin ko kasi na wala kang friends kasi walang nalapit sayo, dahil ba sa body guards mo?" She asked and I simply nodded.

"Ohh so they were afraid, kaya pala" She said while laughing. Her laugh is cute and her smile is mesmerizing.

"Napansin ko wala kang kasamang guards ah, where are they?" She asked while her hand was on her chin.

"I told them to rest" my simple response and she nodded at me.

Before students arrived, she decided to go back to her seat.

"We're friends na ha. Mamayang uwian wait kita sa gate, let's go on shopping, my treat" she said and smiled at me.

Ayara is always active in recitation, she's always smiling and laughing in small jokes. She has a kind heart for everyone and you might think that she's a fallen angel, not only because of her personality but also because her face is so angelic.

I stayed focused and listening but I couldn't help but let my eyes land on Ayara. I stared at her and her face was calm and no expression, she turned to me so I immediately looked at our professor. That's the last time I looked at her today because I felt that she could sense that I was looking at her.
