The F*cking Final JudgmentBackstory: The Shattered Legacy of the Ink Demon
Once upon a time in a universe not unlike ours yet shaped by the flow of myths and ink-stained legends, there was a warrior with no equal—a rogue called Jīn Lóng, the Golden Dragon, a fierce soul who could have been a brother to legends. Born into the illustrious family of renowned writers in ancient China, Jīn Lóng was brought up in a life of privilege and creativity. His parents, world-famous authors, wielded words as others wield swords. But for all the wealth and renown, Jīn Lóng hungered for something beyond the quill: strength, mastery, and a purpose beyond mere stories.
It was during his travels as a young warrior that Jīn Lóng encountered Sun Wukong and Macaque, the two famed simian spirits who were causing rifts throughout the celestial realms. The meeting, initially hostile, turned into an alliance as the trio fought off demonic beasts and armies, their bond deepening with each victory. Yet, in the shadows of his mind, Jīn Lóng harboured doubts. His brothers seemed to have found their path, their own sense of purpose. He felt like an outsider, as though he were trapped in a story not his own.
When Sun Wukong's rebellion against the heavens became inevitable, Jīn Lóng chose a different path, wandering alone to search for his destiny. Then, amidst his solitude, a rumour caught his ear: whispers of a realm ruled by the Ink Demon, a deity betrayed by the very gods who once celebrated him. Drawn by the myth, Jīn Lóng sought out the Ink Realm, where colours vanished, and stories bled into shadows. There, he found a god with ink-black wings and piercing, haunted eyes.
The Ink Demon, who had once been a benevolent deity, welcomed Jīn Lóng with a somber smile. Betrayed by his former allies, the god had transformed, shifting from a protector to an avenging spirit, bound to the ink-stained dimension where he wielded power like a master storyteller. Rather than accepting Jīn Lóng as a mere servant, he offered him the role of a successor—a son to inherit his strength and the ancient Ink Domain, its fluid nature allowing him to rewrite the realms and, perhaps, challenge fate itself.
In this ink-stained haven, Jīn Lóng felt a sense of belonging he had never known. For years, he honed his powers under the Ink Demon's guidance, learning the ways of shadow and deception, and discovering the tragic history of his mentor, who had sacrificed himself for a world that had abandoned him. Slowly, Jīn Lóng took on the mantle of the Ink Demon's heir, wielding ink-bound powers to create illusions and draw forth stories that could reshape reality.
Meanwhile, the heavens grew restless, and Sun Wukong's path took him toward rebellion. Jīn Lóng, knowing that his brothers were on a path that would bring them head-to-head with the gods, set out once more. Their reunion was brief but intense; Jīn Lóng tried to sway them from their course, reminding them of the gods' endless betrayal, but Sun Wukong and Macaque would not be swayed. Tensions rose as Jīn Lóng felt the pull of his ink realm's power, knowing he could reshape reality, yet fearing it would mean betraying his newfound family.
But just as the confrontation reached its peak, the Buddha intervened, imprisoning Sun Wukong beneath Five Element Mountain and sealing Jīn Lóng's world of ink, binding the Ink Demon and trapping his power within Jīn Lóng's soul. Now torn between loyalty to his brothers and his bond with the Ink Demon, Jīn Lóng became an agent of shadows and ink, haunting the celestial realms as both guardian and threat. Bound to an endless time loop, he watched over his companions from afar, his heart split between his adopted realm and his loyalty to his brothers.
Jīn Lóng, the ink-bound warrior, has since become a figure of legend—a ghostly force watching over the universe, poised to bring retribution upon those who betray the sacred bonds of loyalty and friendship.
