The hunting party was ready to leave. Jungkook leading them. Tae remained at the pack house; hunting was not safe for an Omega.

"Be safe Koo, I love you, and remember that big elk, stay away from him, he is bad news."

"I love you angel, I will always be safe, because I need to come back to you."

Jungkook kissed his Omega, pouring all his love into the kiss.

They all left in SUV's, going deep into the forest.

Tae kept himself busy with Luna Jeon, arranging a feast for dinner.

Later, sitting outside alone, he heard steps. Looking around, he saw Minho. Strange, why wasn't he with the others.

" Hey Tae, can we talk a bit?"

"Why are you here and not with the others?"

"Oh, I was in the bathroom when they left, so I was too late."

Not making sense, V told Tae. Be careful.

The Omega was immediately on guard, he did not have a good feeling about this. His eyes scanned the back yard, hoping to see someone to help him, but there was no one. Luna Jeon had gone to take a nap.

"What do you want to talk about? I thought the conversation was done." Tae tried playing for time, someone will come hopefully.

"I was so surprised to see you here. Mated to your sister's ex-mate. Luna to such a big pack. Tell me Taehyung, how are you coping with the monster? Has he knotted you yet? Did you have to endure his rut yet? You will not survive; Jenni told me how much of a deranged monster he is. How does it feel to have to be satisfied with her leftovers?"

"Minho, you don't know my Alpha, he is not a monster. He loves me and would never hurt me. He had no feelings for Jenni, she was but a tool for him and not enough for him. I am his chosen mate, JK's chosen mate. I am his love, as he is mine."

"You know Taehyung, your sister ruined my life. Because of her I am no longer Alpha; I am a fucking guard. After you left, Grandpa revoked my status, and Jenni told me she was pregnant. She lied about not being mated, to the same Trueblood that is now your mate. He burned the bond with her and left her there.

Grandpa forced me to make her my mate, for my pup she was carrying. Yes, it was mine. But a month after we mated she disappeared. I found out she had aborted the pup, the only reason I was forced to mate with her. That was the only light I saw, at least I will have a pup. My hate for her was something fierce. And as she was not there to punish, it grew. Someone needs to pay, and that someone will now be you. You will take the punishment. You will not live a happy life while mine is ruined!"

The anger in Minho's voice sent shivers down Tae's spine. He was in serious trouble.

"Minho, your actions were your own, you made the choices. I accepted your rejection, because neither of us wanted the bond. What happened after that was not my doing, I left immediately. You cannot blame me for your mistakes."

"I CAN AND I WILL OMEGA!!! YOUR SISTER CAUSED THIS!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE REFUSED MY REJECTION!!!!"

Tae was terrified. He would be no match for the Alpha.

He desperately tried to link his mate, just sending a quick help me to him. He prayed it went through. Now he needed to play for time.
