Krish confidence and charm had made a lasting impression, and Keerthi felt a rush of pride in standing by his side.

As the evening wore on, the gathering shifted to more personal stories and laughter. Keerthi found herself chatting with her cousins, who were intrigued by her relationship with Krish. They bombarded her with questions, eager to learn more about the man who had captured her heart.

"So, what's your favorite thing about Krish?" one of her cousins asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Keerthi thought for a moment, a smile spreading across her face. "He's incredibly supportive. He believes in me, even when I doubt myself. And he has this amazing sense of humor that always makes me laugh."

"Sounds like a keeper!" another cousin chimed in, giving her a playful nudge.

Feeling bold, Keerthi added, "And he's really committed. We talk about our future together, and it feels right."

Krish, overhearing her, caught her gaze and smiled, his heart swelling with love for her. He joined the conversation, seamlessly fitting into the lively atmosphere.

"Keerthi has a talent for design that blows my mind. I can't wait to see where it takes her," he said, a hint of pride in his voice.

"Wow, sounds like you two are a great team!" one cousin exclaimed.

Keerthi beamed, feeling more at ease with each passing moment. The tension she had felt earlier began to dissolve as she watched her family engage with Krish, accepting him into their fold.

Later that night, as they said their goodbyes, Keerthi felt a sense of accomplishment. The fear that had once loomed over her regarding her family's acceptance seemed to fade into the background. As they walked to the car, hand in hand, she turned to Krish, her heart filled with gratitude.

"You were amazing tonight," she said, her voice full of admiration. "Thank you for being so supportive."

"Always," he replied, squeezing her hand. "I love being a part of your life, and I'm glad your family is starting to see that."

Keerthi felt a rush of warmth at his words. "I really think they're starting to accept us. It feels good to finally share that with them."

"Just wait. Once they get to know me better, they'll see how great we are together," he joked, his playful grin making her laugh.

The drive back home was filled with a comfortable silence, punctuated by the occasional shared smile and soft laughter. When they arrived at her place, Keerthi turned to Krish, her heart racing with the moment.

"Can I ask you something?" she said, feeling a little shy.

"Of course. Anything," he replied, his eyes filled with curiosity.

"What do you really see for us in the future?" Keerthi asked, wanting to delve deeper into their plans and aspirations.

Krish took a deep breath, contemplating her question. "I see us growing together, supporting each other's dreams, and building a life that makes us both happy. I want to travel together, create a home, and maybe one day, start a family. But first, I want to make sure we build a strong foundation in our relationship."

Keerthi felt her heart skip a beat at the mention of a family. "I feel the same way," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. "It's amazing to think about what we could build together."

"Let's take our time and enjoy this journey," Krish said, his gaze softening. "I want every moment with you to be special."

Keerthi smiled, feeling the warmth of his words envelop her. They shared a tender kiss under the stars, feeling a sense of connection that seemed to bind them closer together.
