Yeonjun hummed to himself as he finished getting dressed, adjusting his school uniform in the mirror. He had taken a refreshing bath, and now, his heart was full, still buzzing from the events of the night. Just as he was about to step out the door, a knock interrupted his thoughts.
Opening it, he found Soobin standing there, looking slightly disheveled in his casual clothes.
"Wait, are you skipping school today?" Yeonjun asked with a teasing grin.
Soobin shook his head, stepping forward and grabbing Yeonjun's hand, gently pulling him into his flat. "You need to have your breakfast before you leave. I made something for you," Soobin said, pointing toward the kitchen with a shy smile.
Yeonjun's eyes widened in surprise as he followed Soobin. His gaze landed on the spread that was waiting for him on the dining table. "Wahhh kimchi fried rice, toast, and fried eggs... You made all this?" Yeonjun's face lit up as he turned back to Soobin, his hands instinctively reaching out to hold Soobin's. "Aww, thank you, Soobinaaa!"
Soobin's heart raced at the sound of his name in Yeonjun's affectionate tone. The warmth of Yeonjun's hand in his sent a wave of excitement through him, and his face flushed slightly. "It's nothing, really," Soobin mumbled, trying to play it cool. But inside, his emotions were swirling. Does he even realize how cute he sounds?
Yeonjun quickly glanced at the clock on the wall. "We still have 50 minutes. You should go freshen up, and then we can eat together," he suggested, smiling brightly at Soobin.
Nodding in agreement, Soobin hurried off to his bedroom, shutting the door behind him. Once alone, he let out a quiet laugh, running his hand through his hair. "What's gotten into you, Choi Soobin?" he whispered to himself. He quickly stripped off his clothes and stepped into the shower, letting the cool water calm his racing thoughts. All he could think about was how happy he felt just being around Yeonjun.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Yeonjun was giggling to himself as he admired the food Soobin had prepared. He's so thoughtful, Yeonjun thought, glancing around Soobin's flat. It was neat and cozy, with just a few pieces of furniture and some unopened boxes stacked in the corner, reminding Yeonjun that Soobin had just moved in. He sat down on the couch, scrolling through his phone while waiting.
After about fifteen minutes, the sound of the bedroom door opening made Yeonjun look up. His breath caught for a moment. Soobin emerged, wearing his school uniform and looking effortlessly handsome. His dark hair was still slightly damp, with water droplets clinging to the ends and falling softly on his collar. Yeonjun couldn't help but think,
H A N D S O M E.Soobin caught his gaze and smiled, his heart skipping a beat. "Yeonjunaah, come on, let's eat," he said, trying to act casual.
Yeonjun stuttered slightly, "Hm-m, yeah, yeah..." He quickly stood up, feeling a little flustered at how good Soobin looked. Get it together, Yeonjun!
Soobin, on the other hand, was trying to contain his laughter, finding Yeonjun's reaction absolutely adorable. Junnie is so cute... he thought to himself as they sat down together. The two ate side by side, enjoying the breakfast. As they ate, they chatted about the upcoming weekend.
"So, any places you want to visit this weekend?" Soobin asked, taking a bite of his toast.
Yeonjun thought for a moment. "I don't know yet... Maybe we can go to the amusement park?"
Soobin's eyes lit up. "Amusement park sounds fun. We should definitely go!"
Yeonjun smiled. "Yeah, let's plan for that. It'll be a nice break from school."
