Asi didn't remember where and when she had heard this but as a child that had been raised in the streets, holding on every crumb of bread, she was certain that no sentence would seem as ridiculous as this one.
But now, as she was watching Ece sleeping in Alaz's arms as he carried her from hospital bed, refusing to let her down not even for a second for entire ride home, she wasn't that so sure anymore.
She walked behind them as Alaz walked upstairs, entering in a room, putting Ece down slowly on the bed, covering her up with a light blanket, not noticing Asi's eyes were on them the entire time till he took the last glance on Ece then turning around his eyes searching for Asi and locking in them as his found hers.
Asi was leaning against the wall her eyes now on Ece, the waves of worries still in her eyes as they were the entire day.
And Alaz died a little bit more every time he saw the doubt in her eyes.
He did all of these things just to see Asi smile and now universe was punishing him by the thing that he hated and feared the most in life.
Asi's sadness.
Alaz walked toward her slowly, circling his arms around, pulling her towards himself.
Asi closed her eyes as she tried to absorb Alaz's warmth as much as she could.
"Come here..." Alaz said pulling her with him making him sit on his lap as he sat on the small couch in front of bed that Asi was standing next to it.
"It's gonna be okay...everything is gonna be okay..." Alaz said as he started to put soft kisses through her hair leading his way to her face.
Not even himself believed the words he was saying.
As Asi felt his kisses on her face, she raised her face to look up at him٫ making Alaz to look down at her too.
"What?" Alaz said with confusion as he saw Asi's eyes roaming on his facial features.
Asi smiled softly.
"Nothing..." she said and got her gaze away from him.
"Tell me! What is it?" Alaz said as he shook her softly by his embrace around her.
Asi looked at him again.
"It's ticklish."
"What is ticklish?"
Asi brought her fingers to Alaz's face, started to touch the lines of his beard with the tip of her fingers, making Alaz feeling shivers all over his body.
"Your beard...it tickles me."
"Oh!" Till that moment Alaz didn't even thought about it. Didn't even cared about shaving.
For the last two years he didn't have a reason to shave and make an effort to look good and clean.
His reason has left him but now she was back after two years.
"Does it bother you?" Alaz said bringing one of his hands up, grabbing Asi's hands softly as se still had a hold around her waist with his other hand.
"No! It's fine...it's just different...I'd never saw you with them...you didn't let them grow."
"Yeah..." Alaz said as he was putting soft kiss on the tip of her fingertips.
"Why did you stop shaving?" Asi said bringing her other hand up to the other side of his neck, stroking the last lines of his beard's hair.
"I just didn't care..."
The way Alaz said this sentence made Asi stop stroking him while her hand remained on his neck.
"Why not?" Her eyes switching between Alaz's.
"You were gone...the only person that I wanted to look good for٫ to impress..."
The he smiled mischievously.
"To stay handsome for..."
Asi rolled her eyes.
"Still way too humble..."
"For you Asi kiz...always..."
Asi giggled softly.
"Well news for you Alaz oglan..."
She said bringing both of her hands to his face, stroking all over his face, making her way to his hair٫sinking her fingers through them softly , making Alaz closing his eyes at the sensation.
