Chapter 26 - Unspoken words.

I woke up later only to discover I have slept for 8 hours straight. I literally have nothing to do so I just went downstairs to make dinner.  Cas is yet to come home nor contact me and I'm really worried and at the same time angry at him. I just hope he's ok.

I made beef stew and rice for dinner, opened the file Ava sent me and it contained my schedule for tomorrow.

First, I have a spa appointment booked at nine. Who made such arrangements, even though it wouldn't hurt to get one.  Making a mental note to call Ava and ask.
Next is a virtual meeting with my Staffs at 2pm, wondering why the meeting is now a virtual one when I can easily go there. 
She equally sent me a clog in alert to monitor when each contact and guests arrives. Then my make up and hair will be done from 4pm. I literally have nothing much to do since Ava is taking care of the physical activities.

I finished my meal and decided to call Tony and Ian. 

He picked on the second ring but was breathing as someone that ran a marathon race.

Tony are you okay? I asked.

Of course, I am just finished my jogging session. He replied.

Jogging session? Well I'm calling to check on Ian and remind you that you're bringing him with you tomorrow. There are children coming from the hospitals and I would want him to see other part of the world.

Awww, playing the mummy role already? That's Soo cute. Ian is currently with my mum and I won't forget to bring him along. He misses you as much too.. Tony said.

"Babe can you come back already, you're taking too long" I heard someone shout from his background..
I chuckled... Jogging indeed. 

Alright let me not keep your partner in jogging waiting then. I will see you tomorrow evening.  I ended the call.

What to do.... What to do? Thinking out loud... I decided to take a walk and get a fresh air.

I went upstairs and changed into a jogger and tank top. Pair it with a sneakers. Took a water can and left the house to meet another drama outside.

Mario insisted that I go with him and extra four guards Making it five. How ridiculous is that not.

He claimed it's for my protection as regards to someone tailing us the last time.

I understood he's just doing his job but I can't go out with five guards just for taking a walk along the estate.
What's going on?

He later agree to come with me while others keep a distance but will still tag along. I don't like people watching me but what can I do now... I just needed to clear my head and these guys are not leaving me alone.

I deliberated on what to do and decided to just go with them.

We stepped out with Mario Walk behind me like a shadow which really irks me..

Well Mario, if you're going to tag along, you might as well walk beside me so it won't look odd and uncomfortable. We might as well get to Know each other...

It was like I have asked for the impossible but he later came up and started walking besides me.

So how long have you been working for Caspian. I asked.

Since I was 20 years... I first worked for his grandfather before him. He replied.

I was surprised he even answered. I was thinking he will ignore me and remain mute.

Wow, so you have been working here for 15 years now... Do you have any family? I asked.

I don't know my parents but I have a wife and a son Ma'am. He replied.
