Welcome to my first original story...

Hi my name is Sydney, but a lot of my friends and family just call me Squid. Growing up I always loved writing and coming up with ideas. I've never gotten to share my work and I decided to finally change that. I got the inspiration for this story from the song 'Pancakes For Breakfast by Lizzy McAlpine' (I'll link the song down below if you're interested.) 

I'd like to start off by saying I am in no way a professional, and my skills need some work. You will most likely see some grammar and punctuation errors through out this piece of work. If you wouldn't mind leaving a quick comment for me to go back and fix it, I'd really appreciate it.  Or if it doesn't bother you that's fine by me. I'm still in school and I plan to start taking some extra classes to improve my writing. This book is basically a cheesy Rom Com. More on the Com part. 

I always love a good funny romance movie and thought why not create one as my first official wattpad story. Don't be shy I love comments, they always give me motivation to write.

Ａｂｏｕｔ Ｔｈｅ Ａｕｔｈｏｒ

My name is Sydney (as you already know) but I go by Syd, Squid, or Sig. I am seventeen years old and a senior in high school. I love to write and create. 

I grew up in a small town in southern Virginia with my small family. I grew up in a Christian home and am still very strong in my faith. I'm not one to push religion down anyone's throat and I don't want to give away that impression, I just like talking about Jesus! If you ever have any questions or also like to talk please feel free to send me a message. 

I enjoy music of all kinds, my main genres are Country, 70's rock, and Indie. 

I love bands like The Beatles,  The Clash, The eagles, ELO, Fleetwood Mac, and so many more. 

Some of my favorite artists are George Harrison, Sabrina Carpenter (Sorry that one really switches it up), Dolly Parton, Malcolm Todd, and so many more. 

Music is one of my favorite things ever. I love to collect Vinyl's and CD's. I play a little bass (I am not good in the slightest but it's fun). I also meddle with the piano a bit. besides music I really enjoy reading. I love fantasy and mystery a lot. I plan on also writing some fan fictions for fun. 

My fandoms are Batfamily, DC in general, Marvel, TopGun, and Psych.

I'm a huge hockey nerd. I love the Vancouver Canucks, Detroit Redwings, New Jersey Devils, And Utah Hockey Club. (even with their terrible name) 

My favorite players are Brock Boeser, Luke Hughes, J.T Compher, Thatcher Demko, and Conner Garland. (I have so many those are just a few)

I'm super excited about the upcoming holidays! Nothing better than having the Christmas tree up, a good book, and some coffee.

Joanna Johnson always has her life planned out in every aspect, what she didn't plan was the flight taking her from NYC to San Diego to go down.
