The aircraft was flying over the destroyed town.

Alexey kept a steady hand on the controls, his eyes scanning the landscape below with great sadness.

He could feel Dryad's presence behind him, but he didn't say anything. He knew that she was nervous, and he didn't want to add to her anxiety.

"God... what a disaster.."
Dryad muttered to herself and almost cried as she saw destruction below. She almost could hear the scream and cries of townspeople in agony. Her eyes filled with tears, unable to control her emotions as she clutched the dashboard with trembling hands.

Alexey glanced behind to watch Dryad's reactions.
"Dryad...," he called. "Hey, listen to me. Calm down."

Dryad's breath hitches, trying to compose herself, but failing terribly as her breathing became uneven.

"Please.. try to calm down," he begged, his voice full of concern, "We just have to pick Alvard and then get out of here, right?" Alexey said again, though he was also facading his mixed feelings.
He had ever saw chaotic scene firsthand before but never as worst as this. He kept a steady breathing, just hoping to slow down the racing beat of his heart.

"Y..yes..." Dryad wiped her tears hastily.

"It's not too much longer until we reach the mansion, and then we'll leave to the extraction point," he reassured her. "We'll be out of here soon. I promise."

"Okay. I trust you, " Dryad whispered and tried to calm herself down.

Alexey smiled faintly and glanced back at the front view. They flew for quite awhile now, and it seemed like they'll reach the mansion in no time.

"We're going down now," Alexey informed, steering the aircraft slowly until it almost reached 49 feet away.

Suddenly the aircraft shook, as if affected by a wave of wind or something else. "Sheesh!!"
Alexey held on tightly as the aircraft shook violently, before steadying itself after several moments.
"What was that?! It's felt like a wave of wind!"

Dryad glanced to the front view, and her eyes immediately widened.
"Oh my God..." she looked terrified at the sight that was catched by her green orbs.

"Dryad?" Alexey frowned.

"I swear, It wasn't there before! Why does it suddenly appear?" Dryad's voice quivered as she asked the question. "W... what is that creature??"

"What's what?" Alexey asked. His voice tensed, "What do you see?"

Again, he slowly brought the aircraft down towards the ground, keeping a watchful eye on whatever it was that she spotted.

But suddenly, Dryad shouted,
"No!! What are you doing?! Go up!! We're going to crash!!" Dryad panicked. "Go higher!!"

"Why?!" Alexey asked frantically.

"We're going to crash the HEAD!! You'll gonna kill us both!!"

"What head, Dryad? The front is clear!" Alexey questioned.

"Brill !!! Can't you see it?!!!" Dryad screamed. "We're going to crash!! Avoid, now! for God's sake, trust me!!!"

Alexey growled but then he quickly adjusted the controls, navigated the aircraft up then pushed forward again.
And so they avoided the accident just in time!

With ragged breath, Dryad quickly glanced below through the window. Her eyes followed the movements of whatever she saw.

"Damn it!" Alexey muttered under his breath, "what exactly happened?!"
