Chapter 7

"What? Really?" I look at yn in shock. I've only known the kid for a few hours, but he already wants to call me "daddy". "If you don't want him to call you that I can just tell him." "No, it's not that it's just that I'm shocked that he considers me as his father figure. I mean we're not even dating." "I know but I think it would be good for him. Considering his biological father thinks he ruined our lives by being born." "Well, you can tell Riku I would be honored for him to call me "daddy"." "How about you tell him yourself?" "Really?"

"Yeah, why not?" Yn and I stop by a store to pick up some stuff I can surprise Riku with, when I tell him he can call me "daddy". I was back in my office doing some paperwork glancing at the clock every 5 minutes to see if it was time for me to go with yn to get Riku. I was anxious to tell him about the great news since I've always wanted a kid. I had just finished signing my last piece of paper when Shitty hair walks into my office. "Hey Bakubro." "What do you want?" "Well, I just heard the great news from yn." "What great news?" "That her son wants to be able to call you "Daddy" even though I thought you would want yn to call you that." I feel my face start to heat up. "Shut up."

After what felt like an eternity it was time for me and yn to pick Riku up from preschool. "Are you ready?" I look over at yn to see her smiling up at me. "To be honest I'm kinda nervous. I don't want to let him down." "Trust me you won't. Kenzo would promise to play with him once he got home from work but when he actually did get home from work, he would pass out on the couch." Just then the door to the preschool opens and out walks the teacher with all the kids. Once Riku spots me and yn he bolts towards us with his arms open. "Mommy!" Yn picks Riku up into a hug. I watch as Riku leans into yn's ear and whispers something while looking at me.

Yn just nods her head then whispers something back to him. He nods his head at whatever yn said. Yn sets him on the ground, Riku walks over to me looking nervous. I kneel down so I'm closer to his height but I'm still slightly taller than him. I hold out my gifts for him which he takes. "Thank you." "You're welcome." "Mommy told me she asked you, my question. She told me she knows your answer, but I want to hear it for myself." "Well, Riku, I would be honored if you would call me "Daddy"." "Really?!" "Yes."

Riku drops his gifts from me, jumps into my arms, wraps his tiny arms around my neck hugging me, and says... "Thank you Daddy." "Of course, Kiddo." I look over at yn who is picking up Riku's gifts and smiling at us. I've never been happier in my life. Once we get home, I put Riku down on the ground so he can go to his room while yn and I make dinner. "Thank you for treating Riku like your own." "Of course." After we finish making dinner and setting the table we hear a knock on the door. Yn and I look at each other. Yn walks to the door with me hot on her heels. Yn opens the door to reveal a man with the same fac shape at Riku.

"Hi yn, long time no see."
