At 10 am tomorrow, Yuuki's whole spirit is finally collected after being awakened by Charles through the speaker in his bedroom, and the alarm, 45 minutes ago. He puts on more casual yet ready-to-be-dirty clothing: a t-shirt and track pants.
Charles drives together with Yuuki to Flora's temporary house to help her and her mother with packing and moving. A pickup truck has been hired and parked on the front and boxes of belongings are put on the back. They are Flora's mother's belongings. Flora's ones are put inside the car Charles and Yuuki drove earlier. The house finally feels empty, well literally, the owner is moving after all.
After everything has been put on, Flora says goodbye to her mother, tears going down her cheeks as she hugs her deeply. She's going to miss her so much. It's saddening seeing them exchange their last time together like this, even Charles and Yuuki can't help but cry along.
After some time, Flora and her mother let go and they wave at each other as the pickup truck and the car drive off to Flora's hometown, taking the mother away with them. Charles approaches to try to comfort the poor girl, but she can't help but sense a feeling of emptiness inside her. It is devoid yet it hurts. Yuuki soon tries to provide comfort and companionship to Flora by sitting close to her on the back seat, though she stays silent for most of the time, as the three of them drive back to Yuuki's house.
There, Charles introduces Flora to one of the bedrooms in Yuuki's house. The first one is on the first floor next to the spacious living room of the house. There's a dedicated bathroom in said bedroom and a spacious wardrobe for all kinds of clothes, plus many more additional features such as cabinets and wall-hanged TV. The only thing that it's missing is the view to the outside world since it's located in the middle of the house in-between rooms. Flora may want to look for another.
There is a second similar bedroom but it's located far back at the house and it's through a corridor. To some, it may give a hotel-like feeling with its warm floor and soft yellow light on the white cream-colored wall, but to some – like Flora – it may give a sense of horror. So she opts for another option. For the first day of moving, she feels pretty picky, especially after separating from her family, though Yuuki tolerates it and understands her feelings; trying to keep up and respect her.
Finally, the third and last similar bedroom is on the second floor, right facing Yuuki's own bedroom. Flora can't help but muses her thought.
"Why does it feel like we're a couple?"
But anyway, she accepts it. It has a view to the outside – an autumn grove behind the house and a small, rocky and snowy mountain with a spring waterfall; dedicated bathroom, spacious wardrobe, cabinets, and a nice little round table and chairs should she ever want to enjoy a cup of tea or anything else. There's also a working desk, but she needs no laptop for now.
Flora moves and unpacks all her belongings in her new bedroom, helped with Charles thanks to his familiarity in servicing Flora's family some time ago. Yuuki wanted to help but Flora politely (and shyly) declines from her not wanting Yuuki to see her private belongings – ladies' underwear and whatnot – even though he doesn't mind at all. She unwinds by lying on the bed and accidentally falling asleep from fatigue. She hasn't changed her clothes from earlier, still wearing her signature white hoodie and blue jeans. At least she's not wearing shoes indoors.
Yuuki checks on Flora in her room and finds her asleep. He goes and tells Charles about it but the gracious servant told him to let her be, as 'the air conditioner is sufficient to keep the room's temperature reasonably chill: not too cold to shrivel the skin and not too warm to get sweaty. It's kind of like nature's chill, minus the fresh air'. Shame. Oh well, it's an air conditioner after all. It's not like it'll transfer actual chill air into the room.
So Yuuki adjusts the light to dim instead. The girl sleeps soundly as the air conditioner provides a comforting white noise from the smooth sound of its machinery working. She rolls from left to right without realizing that the majority of her pain melts away. Good for her, it pained her so much earlier. Though it may come back later, at least she can move on from it.
Meanwhile, Yuuki in his room, can't seem to get his mind off from Flora's parental problem.
"Poor girl just wants to spend time with her mom and dad," he thought.
He thinks and imagines scenarios for a long time, yet he still feels slightly anxious nonetheless. Afterall, those scenarios are equivalent to 'theory on paper'; it may sound good but most likely different when it comes to confronting. But it still gives him some knowledge to prepare for such a confrontation in the future.
His head is tired from all the planning and thinking. As Yuuki steps outside the door to grab some food and water, he encounters Flora who just awoke from her long sleep and already changed into her casual in-home clothes. They jump from each other in surprise as they didn't expect this encounter. The two ask what they were doing and both give a similar answer: to go get food and water.
Along the way to the kitchen, Yuuki asks Flora how she is doing out of concern, fortunately she feels a lot better; he feels relieved. Also during the way, Yuuki notices the back of Flora's hair. It looks pretty and attractive, and matches well with her gray overall. But that's all the attention he pays to; don't give any further attention lest inappropriate thoughts run over your head. DON'T.
Flora and Yuuki enjoy a fulfilling meal together on the dining table. It was a simple meal and it was lovely; they enjoyed it very much. Yuuki rests on the sofa shortly after to allow his stomach to digest the food, and to, well, simply get out of his room more often, while Flora walks around the house to become familiar with it. It's huge and spacious, though it could use more colors other than gray and white.
Charles accompanies her to guide her and give a brief explanation on some rooms. She's surprised to find that Yuuki has a dedicated armory full of his own private collection of melee weapons and firearms – all of them his favorite and preferred weapons of choice, well maintained by, yours truly, Charles.
Furthermore, she also finds that, after the gaming room, is an indoor gym with a door that leads to a changing/shower room. In front of it is a wide balcony with some chairs and umbrellas. She can definitely use the gym room for herself. Oh yeah.
Well, the tour was nice. Flora had a nice walk around the house and it was pretty enjoyable. Later, she finds Yuuki still on the sofa, lying across the length, seemingly spiritless. At the same time, the sunlight coming from the outside gets dimmer, but not because it's turning night. She looks outside the window and notices dark gray clouds in the sky. It's going to be another rainy day, isn't it?
"At least the flowers are happy, and I'm happy, as I don't have to water them." Yuuki notices, stretching his body as he enters lazy mode. "Ahhhh…."
"So this is what you meant when you said that your life is boring, huh?"
"Yeah." Yuuki orientates himself into a more comfortable position when he's suddenly grabbed by Flora.
"Let's spice things up, shall we?"
Those were the last words a slight shut-in hears before being forced to get his legs and body moving.
