As Chad stepped out of his car he was excited to be away from his dad for the summer. He was excited to be in a new place and make some cash for college and of course play some baseball. He looked down at his phone for his cabin and work information.

He was excited to be rooming with Troy, but a little disappointed he wouldn't be working lunch with him. He went to go to the cabin to grab top bunk before Troy could. He launched his things on the bed and decided to go out and start of the ball feeder to get a few swings in before his first day of work started. As he started the machine up he heard someone. He turned around to see Ryan. "Oh hey boss man." He said "Don't worry I'll be all showered and cleaned up before work." "Oh I was just coming by to say you don't have work on the first day, it's really just here to get comfortable and explore, which I see you're doing. Work starts tomorrow at 12:00 noon, and you're off on weekends and baseball days just like you requested." Ryan said. Chad thanked Ryan and went on with his baseball swings. Now that his day had been freed up he figured he would hit the pool and pray Taylor wasn't there. He got back to his cabin and jumped into the shower. For some reason his mind couldn't stop racing. "Couldn't Ryan have just texted me that, and why was he so nice I thought he was some snob like Sharpay. And when had he ditched the juvenile matching outfits with his sister. Maybe I could actually be friends with Ryan." He thought. Chad got out of the shower and put on his swim trunks and headed to the pool. Just as he was about to jump in Sharpay yelled at him "THIS POOL IS CLOSED RIGHT NOW CHAD, FOR ME.. JUST IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING." Chad nodded and walked away. Sharpay could be such a brat for no reason. He decided to head to the hot tub, and as he got there only one person was there. "Ugh Ryan" He thought to himself. "Let me guess." Chad said. "This hot tub is reserved for you." he said in a meaner way than he intended
