Guess who's back ? Back again.

Cold sweat ran down his neck, tremors shook his whole body, his breath was ragged, his voice hoarse, and a tight knot twisted in his stomach. This was the true fear Lucifer felt in his father's presence.

He bowed, trembling, "Hello, F—" but before he could finish, his father seized his throat violently.

Fury flared in his father's eyes, "You think you can do whatever you want, you little piece of trash?!" He threw him against the wall. "Disrespecting the teachers in your first week?!"

Blood trickled from the blond's nose. "I'm sorry..." His whole body weakened.

His father continued to hit him, shouting, "YOU'RE DRAGGING MY NAME THROUGH THE MUD!" "DIE, YOU DEVIL'S CHILD!" Blood covered Lucifer's pale skin.

The pain was unbearable; even the slightest movement made him suffer. Bruises spread across his body, and bright red blood covered him from head to toe. Lucifer couldn't speak; his voice wouldn't come out. Every part of him trembled violently, and his vision began to blur.

The only thing he heard before blacking out was his father's voice muttering, "Damn, I went too far." And then everything went dark.

He woke up on a cold floor, with the wind stirring his hair. Painfully, he pulled himself up and saw he was outside, near his house. It would be a long walk back, but he started anyway, using fences and poles to support himself.

In the distance, he saw the university dorm, and a weak smile crossed his face. Trying to hurry, he fell backward. Strangely, he didn't feel the ground but... hands. He slowly opened his eyes, and... oh no, it was Mr. Hartfelt! What would he say, seeing him like this?

"Lucifer! What are you doing outside at this hour, covered in blood?" Alastor steadied the student.

"Uh, haha," he scratched his head. "You know... just a little street fight, nothing big," he laughed nervously, giving himself away. But the professor asked no further questions; his priority was getting his student to safety.

"Can you walk?" His voice was filled with concern.

Lucifer replied, "Uh, don't worry." Taking a step, he collapsed again into Alastor's arms. "Sorry..." His cheeks turned as red as a tomato.

The brunette sighed, "I'll take you to the infirmary. I should have the keys, and the principal gave me permission to be in the halls at night." He pulled the keys from his pocket, "Here they are."

He carried Lucifer bridal-style, causing him to blush, and entered the university.

The student tried to lighten the mood, "So... how did you become a French teacher at just twenty-three?" Mr. Hartfelt kept walking, replying, "Well, Principal Adam spotted me at my former university and decided to take me under his wing. He always said I had a certain knack for intelligence and persuasion." He smiled wryly, "Even if he's not always the best company, he still gave me a job and saved my life." Lucifer listened in silence.

Reaching the infirmary, Alastor gently set Lucifer on a bed. "Stay put; I'll get some meds and bandages."

The blond sighed, murmuring to himself, "Angel, Lilith, Vaggie, Nifty, and Charlie must be really worried..." He ran a hand through his hair, applying slight pressure. "Why can't I ever do anything right...?" His weak voice trembled, and tears rolled down his pale face.

Mr. Hartfelt returned, sitting beside him and taking his hand. "Shh, it's all right." He wiped away Lucifer's tears. "Tell me what's going on, and I'll do everything I can to help."

The blond sniffled, "I-it's my father," his whole body trembling as tears continued to fall. "When h-he gets angry, he takes it out on me." He hid his face behind his shirt sleeve.

Alastor gently pulled his arm away, looking at him with warmth in his eyes. "Hey, it's okay. You're safe with me now; he can't hurt you anymore, and I'll take care of you. Believe me, as long as I'm alive, he'll never touch you again." He lifted his chin slightly, "Now, dry those tears. They're hiding your pretty face." He smiled, tilting his head a little.

The student wiped his tears and smiled. "Thank you, Mr. Hartf—"

He interrupted, "Call me Alastor."

"Thank you, Alastor." Lucifer's face grew redder with each passing second.

The French teacher began tending to his wounds gently. "Tell me if it hurts." Lucifer nodded.

Starting with the antiseptic, he dabbed it on Lucifer's wounds after stopping the bleeding. "This might sting a little." He sprayed it on, and Lucifer let out a slight "Tss."

The brunette apologized, continuing to apply bandages to his cuts. "Almost done, just a few more minutes." He handed Lucifer a glass of water and a pill. "Take this while I finish up."

The blond swallowed the medicine and water in one gulp, coughing.

Alastor admired his work, "All done." He stood up, "You'll need to stay here for a bit; you can't attend classes in this condition." He handed him a box of medicine. "Take these in the morning and at night, and you should be ready to return in a week."

Lucifer thanked him, gradually drifting off to sleep.

The professor left the room and pulled out his phone. "Hello, Husker?" he called his friend Husk. "Could you get me someone's address?"

The history teacher answered, "Ugh, this is the last time I'll dig into Adam's computer to get you an address, understood?" His voice was irritated.

Alastor chuckled, "Yes, yes, old friend! Don't forget you owe me after our last deal!" A sly smile spread across his face.

Husk sighed, "Who do you want the address for?"

The brunette laughed lightly, amused. "Perfect! I want the address of Lucifer Morningstar's father." He continued walking down the empty halls of Pandemonium University.

"I'll send it in ten minutes," Husk paused before adding, "You're not planning to kill him, right?"

Mr. Hartfelt laughed, "Oh, my dear Husk! You know me so well," his smile faded as he spoke in a cold tone. "If you tell anyone, I'll personally handle you and your darling daughter." A threat that didn't go unnoticed by Husk.

A cold sweat ran down his back, "I won't say a thing... Promise," he stammered, fear threading his words.

Alastor returned to a friendly tone as if nothing had happened, "Lovely!" He ended the call and exited the building.

He chuckled, "I'm going to have some fun tonight~"
