Y/N's POV

"Dang it, I still wanted to play!" I grumbled to myself, flopping back onto my bed. Bakugo had cut our gaming session short, but I wasn't ready to call it a night. I reached for my phone, thinking about who might be up late. Denki always stayed up later than anyone else I knew.

I quickly texted him: Hey, you up for some Roblox?

A moment later, my phone buzzed. Of course! In always down😈

A smile spread across my face. It wasn't long before we were deep into our game, laughing and having a blast together. I felt a thrill of excitement when Denki asked, "Hey, want to come to the dorms tomorrow to hang out?"

"Yeah, im down." I replied, feeling a rush of enthusiasm.

"Oh, and we're having band practice. You can watch if you want!" Denki added.

"Really? That's awesome! I'd love to see that!" I could hardly contain my excitement. I knew Bakugo played the drums, and seeing him in action would be something special.

After a few more hours of gaming, we wrapped up around midnight. We said our goodnights, and before I headed to bed, I wrote my journal entry then want to sleep.

What a day.
This morning, I met Bakugo in the park to talk about...everything. I told him about seeing one of my mom's memories with my grandfather, Jonathan Cresswell, and how unsettling it was. I half-expected him to brush it off, but he listened, even suggested we start digging into my family's past. It was the first time I felt like maybe I don't have to face all this alone.
Then, out of nowhere, a villain appeared, sending civilians into panic. Without a word, we both ran toward the chaos. It was intense—dodging attacks, protecting people, and working with Bakugo as if we'd done it a thousand times before. Together, we took him down, and seeing the relief in everyone's eyes... I felt like a real hero.
Afterward, a reporter cornered us for an interview, which Bakugo tolerated (barely). We grabbed ramen to celebrate, and naturally, I challenged him that I could eat more extra-spicy ramen than him. I nearly melted from the heat, and he loved every second of it. We ended up talking about everything—my sewing, his endless spice tolerance, and how, despite his tough act, he's always got my back.
Walking me home, we kept things light, teasing each other. But when I got to the porch, Mom was waiting and immediately started teasing me about Bakugo being "cute."
Today made me realize something: whatever tomorrow holds, I trust him—and that means more than I can say.
