Early Monday morning, I rushed to the company in a panic.

I ran straight to the department, forgot to greet my seniors, and didn't have time to deal with the juniors who came to me. I didn't stop to greet anyone; I felt that I was going to go crazy at this point.

"Let's end the FWB relationship!"

When I suddenly received this simple text message, my whole body jumped with urgency. We had a little fight that day, and I lost my temper with Uea just because Grit got too close to Uea.

I suddenly became jealous that I forgot that Uea also had his own hardships. When I recovered and found that I was too rude, so wrong, I really wanted to apologize to him; but I remember the time we had a disagreement at Mai's orientation party earlier.

Back then, I kept pestering Uea to get things back to normal as soon as possible, but the results weren't as expected. So this time I took a lesson from that incident, I didn't want to trap him too tightly. I planned to wait a week after we both calmed down.

I glanced around the department room, but the figure I was trying to find didn't appear before me. I immediately narrowed my eyes and glanced at Jade who was sitting at his desk and asked,

"Where is Uea? Has he come?"

"As you can see." He sighed helplessly; his face contorting.

I immediately called Uea, but the phone was automatically hung up. "Jade, can you call Uea now?"

I turned and asked him, Jade looked sad...

Jade: "Actually... "

"Jade" P'Bas voice suddenly sounded, and he came over with a confused look.

"I met Toon from HR downstairs, he said he received Uea's resignation email last night, what happened?"

Wait?

"He has personal matters to attend to."

When I heard Jade's answer, my mind went blank like a short circuit, not believing what I was hearing. I'm late, Uea doesn't plan to wait for me any longer.

"Uea can't just leave his job, Jade, tell me why he quit!" My tone started to get louder.

I believe that Jade should know the reason behind it.

"Yes!" P'Bas agreed with me.

The person being interrogated first blinked in surprise, then grabbed my arm and turned to P'Bas.

"P'Bas, wait for me first, I will come and talk to you later! As for you! Come here!" As soon as he finished speaking, he pulled me out of the department in a rage.

We climbed the three steps along the emergency staircase. It just so happens that there is a garden upstairs, which is a green platform specially built by the owner of this office building on this floor. But in the end, it has become a smoking haven for those who work here, myself included.

"What's wrong with him? Why did Uea resign?" I took out a cigarette with a tense face, and after Jade closed the emergency door, he sighed heavily without saying a word.

"That's because of that damn Mr. Grit, who went to Uea's mother's house to make trouble yesterday. He must have found the address from his resume file. Uea followed him, and then he really had a disagreement with his mother. Then, I went to his apartment to cheer him up!" Jade's words made my fists clench.

If that beast were in front of me right now, I would definitely punch him without hesitation! He absolutely refuses to stop, and what he has done has crossed the line!
