The morn came swiftly. Viserra woke with a sense of security being tangled in her lovers arms. His hair an absolute mess despite neither of them having moved throughout the night.

"Syz tubis issa jorrāelagon," she whispered sweetly in Jacaerys' ear, biting his lobe gently before pulling away to look at him.
[Good morning, my love]

"Good morning to you as well," he spoke in a bit of surprise, eyebrows raised a bit as he woke fully. Viserra hadn't been as sensual as she usually was, so her improved mood made Jacaerys both happy and curious.

"Mhm," she hummed, licking her lips before moving to lightly kiss and bite at his neck.

Jacaerys' breath hitched slightly as he pulled away to face Viserra.

"Are you feeling alright, sister?" he questioned curiously, wondering where her spark of energy came from.

"I'm in a pleasant mood this morn. We will head to the free cities and I will finally be rid of all this madness," she smiled widely.

Jacaerys smiled, admiring the happy expression she wore as he retorted, "I thought you said it wasn't madness?"

She rolled her eyes heavenward with a smirk, "Aye, but it was you who said I was mad to begin with. I may as well own it," she paused, "Viserra the Mad...has a nice ring to it, don't you think?" she winked playfully, the two chuckling slightly.

"Well I much prefer the Realms Golden Heart, but to each their own," a voice boomed from the doorway neither of the siblings recalled hearing be opened.

"Daemon," Jacaerys and Viserra called at the same time, acknowledge the man and silently asking what he was doing in Jace's chambers.

"I came to deliver some...unexpected news," Daemon began, his voice unsure in a way, which was unfamiliar for the confident man.

"What is it?" Viserra asked urgently, her mind wandering to the very worst things possible.

"The Black Dread was just spotted flying this way," he revealed.

"Balerion? He's been resting in the North for years now, though. Why would he fly so far South? Surely that old beast doesn't have such a journey in him," she spoke in confusion.

Daemon cleared his throat and offered a sly grin, "It would appear he shared your plagued thoughts of Valyria..." he trailed off.

Jacaerys and Viserra sent each other a strange glance.

"How could that be?" Jacaerys asked, equally as puzzled as his sister.

"Targaryens bond with their dragons. Some...those select few...bond with many dragons," he hinted.

Viserra quirked an eyebrow up in curiosity. Surely Daemon couldn't mean she was bonded with all dragons. That wasn't possible. She had always been so welcomed by the dragons. Mayhaps it was simply her blood drawing Balerion there. But why her?

So many questions plagued the young princess's mind but all were interrupted when an ear piercing screech was heard. The sound so fierce and booming that it practically rattled the castle walls.
