"So...I assume the trip went well, you both seem pleased," Rhaenyra spoke curiously upon greeting her two children at the entrance to the Dragonstone castle. She didn't know whether Viserra had brought the idea to Jace yet, so she spoke a bit suspiciously.

Viserra smiled a nodded, "Yes, it was a lovely time. We spent the day in the orchards just off the coastline to the East."

Rhaenyra shot the girl a pointed look, knowing Viserra was beating around the bush about what her mother truly wanted to hear.

Jacaerys noticed this and spoke up to avoid his sisters teasing antics, "V and I agreed it would be a well idea to be wed. Though, only after this war is fought. We won't be selfish in these harsh times with something such as a wedding," he explained to his mother.

Rhaenyra smiled, clasping her hands together lightly. She was pleased to hear this. She knew her children loved one another dearly and didn't want them to let duty and fear stand in their way.

"Wonderful. Once I have my throne back and all is taken care of...you two will have the largest wedding this realm has ever seen!" Rhaenyra concluded, excitement evident in her voice.

Viserra and Jace laughed. The girl nodded, enjoying the idea of a large wedding. It would be stressful and long, but it would be so enjoyable and fun. Viserra loved having fun!

Rhaenyra walked back inside the castle while Viserra accompanied Jace to the dragon pits where Vermax was being walked into.

"We should spend the night together, like we used to," Viserra spoke up, her mind a bit longing for the nights she spent with Jace. Sometimes Luke would but he'd get scared and want to be in his room where he could have a candle lit the whole night.

Jacaerys sent his sister a confused glance. He adored their sleepovers, though he didn't know if she had other intents in mind with her suggestion.

The girl quickly elaborated, "Remember how we used to stay up studying our Valyrian and reading the histories? I long to spend the nights with you once more. I would think to ask Luke but he's already expressed his immense boredom with studying his histories," she chuckled slightly to herself. Luke was a sassy young man and very opinionated. He definitely wouldn't want to hang out with them if that's what they were doing.

Jacaerys nodded, "That sounds lovely," he began, "I must admit I've been more restless than usual in the time since you've returned," he confessed.

"As have I, brother," Viserra agreed.

The two shared a look between one another. It wasn't necessarily knowing, but more so understanding. They could sense each other's loneliness and longing simply for the other's presence.

"I have a few letters I must write but once I am finished I shall seek you out so we might spend the afternoon together?" Viserra spoke in a question, making sure this was okay with her brother.

"Absolutely. Do what you must," Jacaerys nodded swiftly. He was a bit bummed that he couldn't be with Viserra for the rest of the day, but he didn't want their newfound relationship to come in the way of their business and duty to the realm.

So the two parted ways for only a few hours. Viserra sent her letters to friends she'd made along her travels, updating her on her life and how Dragonstone has been. They were the people she trusted and knew she couldn't count on for allies if this war went into full swing.
