Princess Viserra Targaryen, the first child of Queen Rhaenyra and Ser Harwin Strong and the only daughter of the Queen.

She was given her mother's Targaryen name to honor her namesake, the late Princess Viserra Targaryen, daughter of King Jaehaerys Targaryen, first of his name, and his wife, the Good Queen Alysanne Targaryen.

Viserra was alike the late princess in many ways. One being that she dreamed far beyond what most in life did. She had so many thoughts and ideas, which was a bit uncommon for a royal girl such as herself especially when she voiced said ideas.

Viserra adored the realm. Every single corner no matter how dirty and ugly. She cherished every moment she got to spend outside castle walls.

Those moments were rare until Viserra was ten and three in which she left on a bit of a tour some would say. Though she wasn't hearing marriage proposals and she didn't have a fleet of royals and knights with her. It was only her and her dragon, Meraxes.

Meraxes was a large dragon, almost as large as Vhagar some would argue. She was a bit pink and a bit white. Her fire was a mix of pink and blue, offering a sort of mystical appearance and resembling what some would recognize to be cotton candy. She was last ridden by the late Queen Rhaenys Targaryen during Aegon's Conquest.

Meraxes hadn't had a rider in nearly a hundred years until Viserra, whose dragon was never hatched, wandered into the wrong trails of the dragon keep, stumbling upon a beautiful dragon indeed. Her smile was wide and she giggled at the monstrous creature, and Meraxes welcomed a new rider.

Most were afraid to try and claim the she-dragon. She was a beast, truly. But Viserra knew none the wiser when she unknowingly claimed the dragon at only five.

And she was impossible to keep off the dragon saddle from that day on...

"A letter from her grace, the Queen," Phaerra, Viserra's lady companion in her time at the free city of Pentos.

Viserra grew both curious and worried as she took the letter from Phaerra's hands, the girl standing by to await what it said.

Viserra gulped and took an unsteady breath as she opened the letter, her eyes scanning over the text with a puzzled expression.

Viserra,
It brings me both joy and sorrow to write to you. I do not wish to tear you away from your adventures, as I know how you've enjoyed them thus far, but I fear I must. With this war brewing I need all the help I can get, including yours if you are willing. I would never demand you come back to Dragonstone, but I grow more desperate as the days go on. Consider it sincerely, my dear, and write back to me if you will come or not. I do hope to see you face to face again, as I'm sure your brothers and cousins do as well, but it is your choice.
I love you, my sweet daughter,

-Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen

Viserra smiled at the thought of seeing her family again. It had been nearly five years since she'd been in Dragonstone. She hadn't seen any of her family throughout her travels and though it was sad, she enjoyed the freedom of not being in court.

She missed her cousin Baela the most. The two girls got up to many schemes in their youth and she had a feeling the girl had only grown in her witty antics.

She also missed her brothers Jacaerys, Lucerys, and even little Joffrey though he was just a babe when she had left. She had never met her other two brothers, Viserys and Aegon, but she was sure she was adore them.
