Candles were lit around the wooden board. Bringing a small amount of heat into the room during the cold October night. The black writing was visible even in the dim lighting brought by the candles. The three girls form a circle around the Ouija board. Looking down at their setup. Ready to play this game
"You sure you want to do this?"
Morana asks once more. Looking in both of their directions. The two of them nodded in unison. Clarifying. Morana sighed then sat up straight. Speaking a prayer. Hoping to bless her two friends around her.
Laura and Kassandra simply followed. Whispering the same words that she did. After they finished they prayer, Morana put her index and middle finger on the triangular piece. Laura and Kassandra followed that movement. Making sure to follow any of her instructions.
"Are there any spirits nearby that would like to talk to us?"
Morana asked the board. The dark room didn't help whatsoever. The triangular piece didn't respond until after a minute or two. The piece slowly moved to the left of the board. Circling the "YES".
"What is your name?"
Morana spoke up again. Waiting for the movement. The three sets of eyes starring straight at the board in anticipation. It moved to the "M", then the "I'. Then, "C", "H", "A", "E", and "L" to finish it off. Laura and Kassandra continued to look at it. Their gazes never faltered. Wondering who this man is that they were talking to.
"Michael?"
Laura spoke up, as if asking the board and or presence in the room. The piece quickly dragged their hands to the left again. Answering the question with a quick "YES"
"How did you die?"
Kassandra asks bluntly. Morana gave her a side eye. Almost as if saying it was a bad question. Morana had done her research. Kassandra looked down at the board for answers. A moment of silence passed by, but then the piece began to move again. Going to the "I", "N", "M", "Y", "B", "E", and finally the "D"
"In your bed, Michael?"
Morana questioned once more. Going with the flow of the dying thing. Trying to be as friendly was possible with this spirit. Getting another yes from the board. She looked up at the others and sighed. Watching as Kassandra looked at her.
"He doesn't seem like a bad spirit..."
"Well, we must keep an eye out for him. If he is, than we are pretty screwed."
Kassandra and Morana conversed. Looking at each other with the help of the twelve candles in front of them. Trying to hide their fear inside of themselves and be as calm as possible.
"He doesn't seem bad..."
Laura murmured the words. Looking at Morana as well. The words were more meant for herself, but the two of them heard it anyway. Processing the words.
"If he is a demon-"
Morana was quickly interrupted by the sound of toys clashing to the ground. Everyone freaked out. Kassandra jumped to the nearest being which was Laura. Morana simply sat still. Looking in it's direction.
"Damnit..."
Morana mumbled under her breath. Her guard up in case anything happened. Kassandra simply clasped onto Laura's arm. Laura could only look around in hopes that this entity wouldn't drag any of them away like in the movies.
Suddenly, the Ouija board began to shake. Violently tapping against the rug they say on. The three of them crawled away from the board. Frightful of the power of the spirit. Suddenly, a red streak of light flew out the board. Coming out of the letters. Begining with the "M". Then the "I", "C", "H", and so forth. All the way until it spelt his name. The streaks of light simply flew above the board. Waving the flames of the candles.
