Amber ...

After a few minutes of being outside Amber went back in,she walked over and took off the jumper.Zee was still fast asleep,She feel back on the couch and sat there,staring at the wall,wishing time could go faster,wishing to just get back home,to see her friends and family.She slowly moved laying down staring at the ceiling.She slowly fell back asleep.

Amber woke up as Zee shook her.He looked panicked.
"We have to hide!"he whisper shouted.
Hiding again,Amber was just done with hiding.She slowly rose to her feet and saw the lady watching.
"Go in that room,"She pointed at a door.
Zee grabbed amber's arm which hurt but she didn't speak up about it.
The room was a bedroom,it seemed quite cosy.There was a closet.
"You hide in the closet if you can,"He said.
Amber walked to the closet and opened it,there was a shelf,but she could still fit.Amber slid in then closed the door.
She could hear Zee go under the bed.
The front door opened,and she could hear talking.Two people,seeming both to be men.
Amber could hear her breathing,her heart beat.Why did she have to hide,who were these people.Amber could see easily in the dark,and she felt something next to her,she picked it up and looked at it.She could see two people,the lady,seeming younger,very young and a boy.The lady looked about 19 ish and the boy,maybe 3.The picture was black and white.Who were they,Amber looked at the lady,she seemed tired,she had long hair and a dress on,she was holding the kid,the kid had very short hair,his eyes,even in the dark seemed filled with life,yet the young woman looked sad.
The photo seemed to be taken in a town,the town had a river in the background,and a bridge,over the bridge Amber could just barely see a big tree.
Amber stared at it as she waited,it seemed to just calm her,the photo had the feeling of sadness yet comforting.She didn't know how to describe it.She leaned on the clorset wall and closed her eyes.
She then heard shouting which shocked her from her thoughts quickly,she thought she heard Zee get out of his hiding place.
"Amber"She heard a voice blar though her thoughts.
She looked around but obviously there was no one else in the clorset.
"Amber! Get out!"She covered her ears,she could hear scratching from her hands rubbing against those weird feather things which was annoying.
Someone opened the clorset and she stumbled out,she looked up,her vision was blurry for a moment and she couldn't tell who it was so she kicked them.
"OW"she heard the person shout.
"Zee?"Amber said when she noticed who it was.
"Yeah it's me and we have to get out of here!"Zee whisper yelled.
"Why?"Amber asked.
"Because I can hear their thoughts and they are thinking of searching the place!"Zee answered.
Amber's eyes widened.
"In fact we have to go now!"Zee said,grabbing her arm.
Amber whined in pain,as pain shook up her arm like thousands of lighting balts.
Zee didn't seem to notice as he dragged her.
"Zee!"she said.
Zee turned around looking at her.
"Zee,where will we go?"Amber asked,flailing her wings.
"We are gonna go out the window obviously,"Zee answered.
"Are you an idiot we have nothing,we don't have anything to protect us from the snow,we could freeze to death!"Amber pushed his hand away from him.
He stared at her.
"Well we can't go out the front door,there are people there!"Zee said.
"Well you said they're gonna search the place right?"she asked already knowing the answer.
"Yes I did,so we have to leave,they are bad people amber-"
"Let me speak!"Amber ordered."if we go out the window we could freeze to death,if we go to the front door we don't know what would happen,so use your mind reading or whatever and invade their thoughts as they raid the place we can slowly sneak past them and get out stuff or hide where they already searched!"
"But what if they!"Zee was about to protest.
"No they won't catch us if we avoid them and stay silent."
"...ok..."Zee said looking down the hallway.
Amber watched him,his ears would twitch here and there.
Amber went over to the window.
"What are you doing?"Zee asked.
"I'm opening the window,they probably suspect that someone was here because of me falling out of the clorset,and they probably heard us talking when we weren't whispering,so might as well make it look like we left out through the window,"Amber said as she opened the window, immediately she felt cold,she could feel small bits of pain here and there when tiny snowflakes would land on her.
She then turned back to Zee.
"So what are you hearing?"She asked.
He stayed silent for a second before speaking.
"They are thinking about raiding the place,one really wants this to be over,so he can go back to his wife and kids or something."Zee stopped before speaking again,"One must have signalled to the other something because now they seem to both want to raid the place,their minds are wondering where to go first..."
Zee spoke quietly.
