Earth, the third planet in close proximity to it's star. It is also the only planetary body in its solar system that continues to harbor organic life.

The scene opens to the porch of the beach house. The door swings wide open as Amethyst and Steven both run out in a hurry. Right after they leave, Spect pops their head out the door.
Spect: "You guys aren't gonna make it!" They hold up Steven's Cookie Cat alarm clock. "It's 5:43! Mr Fryman closes the shop at 5:45!"
Amethyst: "We'll make it!"
Steven: "Yeah!"
As the two eventually leave Spect's sight, they exit the building to follow. But as they reach the bottom step, look around slightly uneasy.
Spect: "Huh... Something doesn't feel right."
They look around the beach, thinking it might be another creature like the centipeetles they fought four days ago. Not seeing anything yet, they look out over the ocean and see the sunset. While observing the view, Spect feels something. Was it nostalgia? Perhaps a sense of reminiscence? UNknowingly, they extend one of their right arms to the side to grab, or perhaps hold, something...
Or someone?

They look to their right and see nothing, unable to recall why they reached out, or why they are feeling this way. They pull their arm back and hold it as they continue to stare at the sunset in silence...
Only for them to notice something else in the sky. It was too far away to identify it, but whatever was seemed to be glowing. Was it a star? No, it was still too bright out to see those. Unsure of what it is, Spect returns to the temple to ask Pearl or Garnet, seeing as they are more knowledgeable about space then they were.

A short time later, Garnet and Pearl are now on the beach as well. Pearl was looking through a telescope to get a better look at the problem.
Garnet: "This is bad."
Pearl: "Look at the size of it, I had no idea these things were so big!"
Spect: "But, what is it?"
Amethyst: "Hey guys!"
The three present gems turn to see Amethyst running towards them while carrying Steven over her head. Pearl looks at her annoyedly before speaking.
Pearl: "We saw. Some of us are trying to protect humanity." She then places her hands on her hips. "Where were you?"
Amethyst places Steven down and casually answers her.
Amethyst: "...Eating fry bits."
Pearl then groans at her nonchalant excuse. Steven then excitedly goes over to the telescope to observe what was happening.
