Every Pyrite has some kind of firepower. Right? Nope. Not me, Pyrite Facet-9.5HW Cut-7HL. I'm what other gems consider 'fireless.' Due to this- and my scrawny stature -I can't work the usual Pyrite job of a soldier. Instead, I'm a Mail Gem. Lame, I know. I've heard it over and over. Stars, why am I being so negative? Anyways, my best friend is Pyre, who coincidentally is the Pyrite with the most recorded fire in all of gem history! One day, I'm doing my usual job as a messenger when I get a message on my screen! I thooooouuuught it was an extra delivery... but it was so much more than that. A promotion! I was working directly for the Diamonds now! But there's a bit of a catch. A Lapis, Cut-4XK, who I had only recently met before my promotion, and she... wasn't the nicest. But there's a bigger problem than that. A much bigger problem. A problem that could destroy our entire existence as a whole. Can I find out why 4XK is being so rude? Can me, Pyre, and the recently-met Ruby Topaz change our future, for the better, or for the worst?
