I woke up feeling a bit hungover, my head throbbing slightly as I noticed Adam was no longer beside me. Sitting up, I rubbed my eyes, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and made my way to the bathroom to wash my face and relieve myself. The cool water felt refreshing against my skin, helping to clear my foggy mind.

After a few minutes, I stepped out of the bathroom and reached for my phone, hoping to check for any missed calls or messages from Mira and Nadia. There were none. I frowned slightly and glanced at the time before setting my phone back down. It was still early, too early for any real plans, so I decided to take advantage of the quiet.

I walked over to the balcony and stepped outside, instantly greeted by the soft morning breeze. There, I spotted Adam sitting in a chair, his profile illuminated by the morning sun. He glanced up at me, squinting slightly against the glare. "Morning!" he called out, his voice cheerful.

"Morning!" I replied, returning his smile as I took a seat across from him.

For a moment, we sat in comfortable silence, soaking in the peacefulness of the morning. The view was stunning; before us lay a large pond dotted with lush green grasses and vibrant lotus flowers swaying gently in the breeze. The soft chirping of birds and the occasional rustle of leaves created a soothing soundtrack that made the world feel serene.

After a few moments of quiet, I turned to Adam, breaking the silence. "I hope I didn't keep you up too late last night," I said, my voice playful but laced with genuine curiosity.

He chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Not at all. I had a great time, actually. You have quite the singing voice."

I laughed, feeling a warmth spread through me at his compliment. "Oh, please. I was just trying to keep up with you and Irwan."

"Well, you definitely added to the fun," he replied, leaning back in his chair, his expression relaxed. "I'm glad we got to hang out."

I felt a flutter of excitement at his words. "Me too. I really enjoyed last night." I glanced out at the pond, taking a moment to gather my thoughts before turning back to him.

"Wanna take a walk on the beach?" I suggested, feeling a rush of excitement.

He smiled and nodded, and we both made our way downstairs. I was still wearing his shirt, which was delightfully oversized, falling just above my knee. As we strolled through the resort, the morning sun warmed our skin, and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore created a soothing backdrop.

After a few minutes of walking, Adam suddenly stopped. I turned to look at him, puzzled. "What's up?"

He chuckled sheepishly, "I think I want to turn back."

I burst out laughing, shaking my head. "Seriously? It's only been five minutes!"

He grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Okay, okay. You got me! Let's go back then."

I started walking back, playfully pulling ahead of him. A moment later, I felt him catch up, his long strides closing the distance between us. We chatted lightly as we walked, the chemistry between us palpable.
