Ron sighed, as they walked Lockhart to the infirmary. "I can't believe we have to babysit him. Why couldn't Dumbledore have gotten one of the actual teachers to do it?"

Athena sighed and rolled her eyes.

Lockhart smiled stupidly and blankly, "Lovely castle! Am I... a student here?"

Athena decided to tease him, "Yes, Professor, you're a very advanced student. Top of your class."

"In the clueless department," She whispered to Ron, he stiffled a giggle.

"Wonderful! Do I have many fans?

"You had some, but I think they're all in recovery now," Ron grumbled.

"Maybe the Basilisk. If only you two could've had a real heart-to-heart before she fled the scene," Athena mocked and Ron chuckled

"Basilisk? Is that... is that someone I should know?"

"No worries, Professor! The Basilisk was just an Old friend. Big, scaly, likes long naps and petrifying people on the weekends," Athena teased mischeviously.

"You two have such a marvelous sense of humor! I don't suppose... I'm part of the joke, am I?"

She patted Lockhart's shoulder, "Professor, you're definitely the star. Come on, let's get you tucked in before you wander off and try to fight the giant squid next."

They walked down the Hallway, making inside jokes about Lockhart. Athena sighed, relieved. The pertified people were goning to be okay, Ginny is alive, everyone's happy.

Too much trouble for being friends with these idiots.. At least next year could be normal..

The walked into the infirmary.

Madame Pomfrey eyed Lockhart, "Good heavens, what did he do this time?

"He tried to wipe our memories and ended up wiping his own instead," Ron said with a deadpan look and tone.

"Honestly, that man needs a lifetime supply of common sense," She said, shaking her head in disbelief, "Lay him down here. I'll get something to calm him down, there is nothing to cure a wipped memory," she said and went away to get the potion.

"Am I famous?" Lockhart asked, beaming and oblivious, "I feel like I should be famous! Do people... write to me?"

"Shut up," Athena was getting annoyed with his  constant questioning.

"Well, they loved the idea of him, anyway," Ron whispered to Athena.

"Alright, Mr. Lockhart, drink up. This'll help you sleep a bit," She said, handing him a small couldron shaped glass.

"Do I trust you?" He asked confused,"You look very... trustworthy. Like a... motherly sort."

"Merlin give me strength," She muttered to herself, she turned to Lockhart, "Yes, you can trust me. Unlike some people, I know what I'm doing."

"Madam Pomfrey, was that shade?" Athena said, mockingly gasping.

"Who knew you had it in you!" Ron grinned.

"Spending enough time patching up students after the "Professor's" lessons, I've earned the right."

"Do I... teach?" He asked, as he finished his potion, looking breamily at the ceiling,"I feel like I'd make an excellent teacher!"

"Oh, absolutely," Athena said sarcasticly, "You taught us so much, Professor. Lessons we'll never forget, like. . . 'Never let the Pixies out of the cages'"

"And how to run when you're totally unprepared," Ron added grinning.

"Off you go, now. Let me deal with him," Pomfrey hustled them out.

"Good luck!" Athena said as she and Ron exited the infirmary.
