Yuvika and Vivaan sitting on the couch, watching "The Conjuring." The room was dimly lit with just the glow of the TV, and eerie background music played in the scene. A creepy moment appeared on the screen where the ghost was crawling on the wall.
Yuvika was completely engrossed, looking like a total horror movie fan.Whereas on the other side Vivaan had a different story,he clutched a pillow tightly, almost using it as a shield.
"Yuvika, isn’t this movie... a bit too scary?" Vivaan said hesitantly, trying to hide the fear in his voice but failed.
"Kyu?,daar lag raha hai?" Yuvika said looking at Vivaan controlling her laughter seeing vivaan clutched the pillow, almost hiding his face.
"N-Nhi.. Me-Me kyu darunga,me kisise nhi darta" He said trying to sound brave.
Just then, a jump-scare popped up with the ghost appearing close to the screen. Vivaan nearly jumped out of his skin.
"Arre maa! Yeh kya tha?! Kya zaroorat thi itne close aane ki?!Agar mera heart fail ho jata fir?!!!" Vivaan muttered to himself and then looked at Yuvika, who was laughing openly.
"Haan,haan hass lo pehle tum ,meri yahi halat dekhne ke liye hi to lagai thi tumne ye movie haina?!! Pata nhi meri buddhi par konse patthar paad gye the jo mene tumse suggestion lene ke sath sath tumhe dekhne ko bhi keh diya"Vivaan said being scared.
Yuvika not giving a shit about his words just laughed,after a while Yuvika held back her laugh and said, "Vivaan, it's just a movie! Ghosts aren’t real."
"Haan, tumhe toh bada gyaan hai na? Kabhi bhoot tumhare saamne aaya toh dekhta hoon tum kitni fearless rehti ho!"Vivaan said giving her a doubtful look.
Then another spooky scene came on where the ghost was dragging someone with its long hair. Vivaan screamed again,"Aree yaar koi usse chudao bechari ke sare baal nikal jayenge gangi ho jayegi voh"He said while yuvika not able to control her laugh,laughed out loud holding her stomach.
Yuvika stopped laughing,got a bit serious and said, "Vivaan, maybe you should stop watching. You’re about to hide under the bed."
Vivaan quickly grabbed the remote and paused the movie, "Hold on! I need a timeout. Water. Popcorn. Maybe… I don’t know… a cartoon instead?"
Yuvika couldn’t stop laughing, practically doubled over on the couch. "Vivaan, cartoons? Really? You’re this scared?"
He looked at her, shaking his head. "You don’t get it, Yuvika. Horror movies and I are just… not meant to be!"
Grinning, she snatched the remote back from him. "Well, it’s too late now! Ab to puri dekhni padegi mere sath!"she said
"No.. Not at room.Its not going to happen" Vivaan said on his way towards his room.
" Agar apni izaat bachani hai duniya ke samne,chahte ho ki me ye na batao ki The Vivaan Oberoi,CEO of Oberoi Industries is scared from horror movies,then watch it with me till the end" Yuvika said from his behind,controlling her laugh knowing he will come back now
