His car was finally showing some pace, his new talking stage was cute. Life was so pretty. "Osc your phone's ringing," He giggled staring at his own phone. "Can you pass it to me?" Oscar says looking over the data with his engineer. One of the mechanics reaches for his phone. Oscar cannot help but ask "Who is it?"
"Sofya Petrova," The Russian engineer had no trouble pronouncing the last name. Lando's smiled dropped. He looked at the mechanic and then to Oscar. Hoping it was not the Sofya Petrova he knew. But the look him and Oscar shared proved him wrong.
"Hey," Oscar answers the phone. "Oscar!" Sofya greets him. "So the stars on ice show is happening in London. Do you want me to reserve tickets for you and Lily? I tried calling her but she isn't picking up," Sofya explains.
"Yeah sure. It's around the weekend right? Lily's exams will be done by then," Lando doesn't even try hiding his stare at Oscar. His phone no longer entering. "What? What's on weekend?" Lando impatiently asked receiving a glare from his Australian teammate. A glare telling him to shut up.
"The just two tickets right? Because Dela have her challenger series competition," She asked. "What about Ethan?" Oscar said. "Who's Ethan? Is it her boyfriend? Is it a double date?" Lando butted in making Oscar shove him away.
"Who was that?" Sofya asked hearing the faint voice. "Just some engineers," Oscar lied. "Is Ethan performing?" He added. "Yeah, there's some people from the Russian National team from my time too," Sofya explains. "I'll reserve tickets for you and Lily," She said.
"Who───" Lando was cut off when Oscar placed his palm over the Brit's mouth. Shutting up the senior driver. Lando saw his team mate say "sure" and "works fine" before going silent.
