Never Forgotten (L.T)

Chapter 1

*Abby's POV* (2010)

I can't believe today is the last day of High School. I will never see my like I did. Today is finally graduation day and everyone is happy here except for me.

"Cheer up Abby. Aren't you be happy that we are finally done with this prison?" Louis asks. Louis is my best friend, I don't know what I would do without him. I have known him for such a long time and spent every day with him and now I don't even know when I'll be able to see him.

"Of course I am Lou, but I don't know what's going to happen after today. Yes I'm going to go to college, but I need the money for it. I can barely even find a job. And most of all I don't know when we will see each other anymore." I tell him leaning my head against his shoulder.

"Hey don't worry. I have some news that I want to share with you today when graduation is over." He tells me.

"Please tell me it's good news." I tell him.

"Well for me it's incredible news.I'm just afraid how you will take the news." He says. That is never good. We always end up having arguments whenever he says those words.

Well whatever he meant by those words I decided to not question about it anymore. Instead I got in line to head into the auditorium for the ceremony. And what are the chances that they make Louis and I sit next to each other, he's going to do something stupid and make me laugh. But he didn't thankfully, the last think I need is to get in trouble during this ceremony.

Finally they were handing out the diplomas and one after the other went on stage to grab their diploma. I was second to last to get mine and Louis was last. Then we finally took the group photo for graduation and everyone went to their families. And like always Louis' and my family were sitting together.

I went to my parents and Louis went to his.

"I am so proud of you Abby, you finally finished Hish School." My mom says hugging my tightly.

"Thanks mom. Now the real question is what the hell I'm going to do." I tell her laughing.

"Well right now all you have to think about is your graduation party that we are celebrating with the Tomlinsons at their house." My mom tells me. I nod.

"Alright I'm just going to change into something more comfortable. I'll meet you guys at their house alright." I tell my parents. They nod and I take all of mmy things and head to my car.

I drive back home and get out of the dress I have been wearing the past few hours. I put my hair in a ponytail and put on some jeans, a cute shirt, and converse. I go back into my car and drive to the Tomlinsons who were literally like 10 minutes away.

I park my car on the street because who knows how many people are coming over. I walk inside and the first person I'm greeted by is Louis' mum.

"It's so nice to see Abby." She says.

"You too Jay." I tell her. She hates it if I don't use her first name. She says it makes her feel old plus she is like a second mum to me she always has been.

"I can't believe you and Louis are both finished with High School now." she say

"Yeah me either." I say and try to put on my best fake smile.

"Alright well I'll go talk with your parents for a little bit." She says and I nod. Suddenly I feel someone put their hands over my eyes.

"Guess who?" The person whispers in my ear.

"I don't know can you give me a hint?" I ask them.

"I'm your favorite person in the world." They whisper. Right when they said it I knew it was Louis because he is my favorite person.

"Um Scott Eastwood?" I ask.

"What? No, it's me Louis." He says and removes his hands and turns me around.

"I know that BooBear. I was just messing with you." I say pinching his cheeks. He staright away removes my hands.

"Stop pinching my cheeks. You aren't my gran nor am I five years old." He says.

"But you sure do act like one." I tell him.

"Whatever." He says and I started laughing.

We spoke to some family members everyone congragulating us. Jay really went out with this party for just the two of us. It was a barbeque and there were so many people here. I would have been fine with a normal family dinner. There even was space for dancing. Then as if on que "Look After You" by the Fray starts playing. Louis and I both love this song.

"May I have this dance?" Louis asks me reaching his hand out and I gladly take it. We walk over to where everyone else was dancing. I pur my arms around his neck and he placed his hands on my waist.

Then Louis starts singing along with the song. I swear he has the voice of an angel and it makes me really jealous that I can't sing.

"Come with me." Louis whispers in my ear when the song finishes. We head inside to his room. louis closes the door and sits on his bed head in his hands. I sit next to him.

"Louis what's wrong?" I ask him.

"I don't know how I'm going to tell you this." He says.

"Lou please tell me. You are really starting to scare me." I say. This is going well. What is wrong with him? He seems a bit frustrated but sad at the same time.

"Abby I am so sorry." He says. Okay what the hell is going on?

"Louis why are you apologizing? You haven't done anything." I tell him.

"Abby I'm auditioning for X-Factor." He says right away.

And that is when my heart shattered.
