*Louis's POV*

"Are we there yet," I ask for the millionth time. Paul groans.

"Louis you've been asking the whole ride there," he says.

"Can you at least say how far away we are?" I ask.

"Fine we are about 2 minutes away," he finally says.

"Thank god," Liam says.

"What's that supposed to mean Liam?" I ask him.

"We won't have to listen to you whining anymore. Mamas boy finally gets to see his mama," he tells me.

"You're mean. Harry, Liam's being mean to me," I say fake crying into Harry's shoulder.

"Liam how dare you be mean to my Louis," Harry says and rubs my back. I chuckled into his shoulder.

"Whatever," Liam says. I lift my my head up and we were already parked in front of my house. I was the first one to jump out of the car and ran to the door.

I opened the door and I could smell my mum cooking something.

"Mum I'm home," I yell as I walk in. At that moment I hear a plate falling on the ground. I rush to the living room and see a girl picking up the pieces.

"Here. I'll help you," I tell her.

"No,no it's fine," she says.

"No it was my fault I yelled really loud, just a force of habit," I say helping her pick some pieces up.

She went to grab a piece and hissed and dropped the piece again. I looked at her finger and it was bleeding.

"Here I'll show you to the bathroom and I'll bandage it for you," I stand up and reach my hand for hers and she gladly takes it. I lead her to the bathroom and grab a bandage out.

I wrap it around her finger.

"Thank you," she says. She has a really delicate voice and she hasn't looked up at least once. We head towards back to the kitchen and I see my mum picking up broken pieces. She looks up and smiles at us but then she sees that the girl has a bandage.

"Oh my gosh Abby are you alright? I heard a plate fall and I ran downstairs," I looked at my mum. Did she just say Abby?

"Abby. So your name is Abby," I ask her. I turn towards me and I see that she was facing me.

I take one look at her and I feel my heart beating faster.

"A-Abby. As in my best friend Abby," I say looking at her. She smiles at me and nods her head.

"Hi Mrs. Tomlinson," I hear Harry say. I don't move from my spot and me and Abby are just standing in front of each other.

"What's up with him," Niall asks. My mum laughs.

"Let's just say Louis and his best friend are finally reunited," my mum says.

At that point I couldn't wait any longer. I engulfed Abby in the tightest hug ever.  I buried my head in the crook of her neck and she hugged me back.

We stayed like this for about 5 minutes and no one dared to even say a word.

*Abby's POV*

I loved this. I finally see my best friend after 2 years of not hearing a single word from him. He had his head in the crook of my neck and was hugging me so tight as if he will never see me again.

By this time I was already crying. I couldn't believe that he actually remembered and here he was. He finally let go after 5 minutes and notice my tear stained cheeks.

"Abby, please don't cry," he says holding my face in his hands wiping off the tears. I looked into his eyes and noticed he was getting tear eyed as well.

"i just missed you so much Lou," I say straight away. He smiles.

"I missed you too Abby," he says. I heard someone cough in the back.

"Well sorry to break this heart touching moment but I'm starving," Niall says.

"Okay, anyway c'mon boys there's food on the table. Help yourselves," Johannah says.

"I'm not hungry," Louis says.

"Neither am I," I say.

"Alright if you two aren't hungry then fine," she says and heads towards the kitchen.

Louis then grabs my arm and pulls me upstairs to his bedroom. We get inside and he locks the door. He sits on his bed and pats to the spot next to him and I sit down.

"So Abby I have a question," I didn't dare to look at him. I had a feeling I knew what the question was already so I kept my head low.

"Ask away," I say barely above a whisper.

"Where have you been Abby? My mum has been looking everywhere for the past 2 years," He asks.

I stay silent. I didn't want to say anything.

"Abby please look at me," he says lifting up my chin. I look into his eyes and he had tears in them.

"I moved to London," I say truthfully.

"Why," He asks.

"You should know why Louis. You were the reason I moved," I tell him.

"Abby I didn't have a choice," he says.

"You don't need to tell me the whole story, your mum already told me everything," I tell him. He knew what I was talking about. He then looked at me again and brushed my hair out of my face.

"But why did you change your hair color?" I shrug.

"I guess I just wanted to change. I've seen you so many times in public and you never dared to even come say hi so I just thought you forgot about me might as well change the hair," I say.

He started twisting a piece of my hair in between.

"I miss your old hair, but I'm liking this look on you," He tells me.

"Yeah me too," I say. Now it's just getting awkward and that was always the one thing I was afraid of, that it would just get awkward between us.

"So I think we should go downstairs before the boys and my mum get suspicious," he says and grabs my hand. We walk inside the kitchen where everyone is eating.

They noticed that we walked in and directed their attention on us. Then I noticed that the boys were looking at our hands and Louis noticed as well. Then he swiftly removed his hand.

It's like he's embarrassed of me now. His mum noticed my facial expression change and frowned. Then I sat down on the table and sat a bit farther from Louis.

No one really cared expect for Louis' mum who sent me a sympathetic look.

I thought today would've been better.
