TW: Abuse and mentions of attempted murder

- His mother was an abusive housewife who treated him like garbage and he use to live a very poor home.

- His parents use to be married together until they got divorced when he was 4 and because of that, he is unfortunately stayed at home by the hands of his abusive mother.

- His mom abuses him physically, mentally, emotionally and verbally.

- Whenever she gets angry or gets frustrated, she would take his anger on him by either whipping him with a belt or a whip or even locking him in the closet until night time.

- Whenever he makes a mistake, even when it's a minor mistake, his mom would use a ruler to slap his wrists or give him cigarette burns. Heck, she would even give him scars from sharp objects like knives.

- He would always get scared of his mom everytime she gets angry and he would hide in his room shaking and crying.

- She would also degrade him and call him a lot of hurtful things like mistake and vice versa.

- This causes him to have very low self esteem due to his mom degrading him.

- It kept going on for a while until one of the neighbors heard his mom acting all crazy and attempted on killing Joshua with a knife as she chased him in the house and they call the emergency services on her and she was taken away and he was send to the orphanage as a result.

- His time at the orphanage was okay, some of the kids were nice to him, a few others were okay towards him while the rest would bully him for his once poor background.

- He started to have PTSD thanks to the incident and the abuse that his mom put him through and it took him to a dark place for a long time.

- He lived in the orphanage for months until his dad came into the orphanage and saw his son in concern since the emergency service workers called him about what happened and he manage to get full custody of Josh.

- He asked about what happened and he told his dad everything about what his ex-wife did and he was heartbroken and angry about and he hugged him and apologize for not being there for him when they got divorced but he forgive his dad and told him not to let guilt rule his life.

- His dad decided to sign him up for therapy after he got full custody of him and took him in, but he knew that his son is never going to be the same again.

(I'll admit, this is heartbreaking to write about and i was nervous on posting this, but don't worry everyone, Joshua is okay and he is in therapy now and I'll come up with something a bit lighter later today.)
