“Your vampire friend isn’t that friendly is he?” Megan asked. “Yeah, he’s not much sociable.” I replied. “Too bad. He’s kinda cute though.” Megan said. We continued walking together until we got out of the school. I saw our car so I was about to get inside.
“W-wait. We’re are you going?” – I asked. “To your house.” Megan replied. “You can’t go to my house.” I replied. “What? Do you expect me to stay here for the next, I don’t know maybe, 12 hours and wait for you to return? Uh-uh sweety not gonna happen.” Megan replied. “No Megan. Know your limits.” I said. Megan froze and she said okay, I got inside the car and Flynn and I drove off to our house. When we got to our house, I checked my thing and noticed that I’ve forgotten 3 of my books in school so I had to go back.
I got inside the house and said my greetings to my mother; I headed straight to bed because it was a long day. I entered my room. I sat on my bed and changed my clothes.
“Nice Abs!” Megan said. “Bloody Hell! What are you doing inside my room? Didn’t I tell you to remain inside the school?!” I shouted. “Yeah, I know Mr. Grumpy Pants but I couldn’t and I wanted to know how your house looks so I stuck myself inside of the back of your car. You know, with some of your bags back there.” Megan replied. “Even so?! How did you even fit there? And how long have you been inside my room? Also, how did you get inside? Everyone here is supernatural? Why didn’t they see you?” I asked. “Oh, when we got to the gate and you guys parked your car while you were both still outside, I quickly ran inside your house because I knew you’d get your things and look if you’ve left something, which you did. You came back for it, right? At the school. I can’t just wait in front of your door, so when someone came out of the house and left the door open, I sneaked in. I can’t really open doors plus I don’t know how your house looks on the inside so I couldn’t get inside without help, when I got inside, everyone was very busy, seems like preparing for a battle or something, nobody noticed me and I took advantage and went inside a room. Then you came in so I hid behind the cabinet. Then you started changing to your pajamas, so I closed my eyes and as it turns out, it takes so long for you to put a shirt on and I got tired of waiting so I spoke.” Megan explained. “Wait. When I got here, everyone wasn’t busy.” I said. “Well, they finished up.” Megan added.
I went downstairs and found a note near our door;
Dear Mikael,
Something came up and mother has to take care of it. I am absolutely sure that by the time you read this, the ghost who entered our house earlier have told you about it. I’ll explain everything when I get back.
Mother.
I finished reading the note. “Don’t shake your hands too much! I can’t read it!” Megan exclaimed. “Mother knew about you.” I said. “Maybe she saw me. But why didn’t she say something to me?” Megan asked. “Maybe she needed you to be the one who deliver a message about what they’re doing prior to the time I returned.” I replied.
“Megan, right? Why are you here?” Flynn asked. “I should be asking you that. All the vampire and witches here are gone. They went out to God knows where. Why are you here?” Megan asked Flynn. “They told me to keep watch over Mikael.” Flynn replied. “We’ll get our explanation once mother gets back. For now, I’ll wait for her. You two get some rest. I don’t know if ghost can use beds but if you could, there’s a vacant room on the 2nd floor 4th room on the left, you Flynn can go get some rest too.” I told them. “Okay.” They both replied.
“Mother. We need to talk.” I quickly said the moment she opened our door. “What’s the matter mother?” I asked again quickly. “Follow me to the Witch’s Den.” My mother commanded. We went to the Witch’s Den and once we got there, mother closed the door and told me to have a seat. “What is wrong, mother?”
“56 years ago, we made a deal with the werewolves that we’ll stop bickering with each other and accept each other’s differences. The werewolves helped us deal with the Breathers. We lived peacefully until now. Tonight we received a distress message from one of our werewolves friends, so we went to help them. A whole pack was annihilated when we got there, the attacked was also gone. It wasn’t a breather, it was something else. Something that we don’t know yet. We got there and were only able to save one werewolf. A teenage boy. He will be here shortly. Now, I need you to move out of the house. We’ve arranged a new house for you. You can live there with, Flynn, the teenage werewolf and the ghost if you want to. In the meantime, I have to go out of town to meet your father and come up with the solution for this chaos before time runs out and the werewolves go extinct. We need to save them. Their race is slowly dying.” Mother explained.
“I understand, Mother. I shall comply with everything you’ve asked me to do.” I replied.
