THE next few days were brutal for Willow. She'd never been big on opening up; now, it felt impossible.
She claims to have moved on, but Matthew Daniels' slur still gets under her skin.
Lynn's attitude towards Willow did a 180.
Willow's week was a mess: tripping in strength class, stuttering in front of her classmates, but Lynn being less aggressive made up for it.
Willow concluded her babysitting duties with the Loud siblings and was heading home.
That was until a familiar raspy voice interrupted her.
"Hey, Willia-" Lynn stopped herself. "I mean, Willow!"
Willow turned to face Lynn, who'd just finished soccer practice, sweaty and disheveled, standing at the front door.
Lynn grabbed Willow's hand, wordlessly dragging her out and into her car.
Willow didn't feel like fighting back, too flustered to focus on anything else.
Lynn had built up serious muscles after playing sports full time, and damn, it was a sight for sore eyes, for sure.
"Uh, where are you taking me?" asked Willow, furrowing her eyebrows when Lynn started driving away from their neighborhood.
"Eh, just felt like kidnapping you." Lynn shrugged.
Willow, too drained from school, shrugged as well. "Alright then."
Truth was, Lynn's friends had been informed by Lynn and Willow's interaction in the bathroom, from start to finish. They'd scolded Lynn for being so quick to judge Willow when they first met, but they're glad Lynn had a change of heart.
Lynn, on the other hand, was primarily concerned with Willow's wellbeing. Although Lynn had been harsh towards Willow in the past, she wanted to make amends and show that she could change.
Just then, Lynn pulled up to their local mexican restaurant, and thankfully, it had a drive thru.
"What do you want?" Lynn asked, looking at Willow.
