Eve slipped on the rocky terrain, nearly losing her footing on the mountain before regaining her balance. Unused to her new, slimmer legs, she kept slipping.

"I have no idea how you adapted so quickly," Eve grumbled, after slipping on her nine tails and almost plummeting into an unseen crevice.

"You'll get used to them, dear," Cinna said, rescuing her from a precarious chunk of rock.

"Yeah, in about a million years," Silver said with a devilish smile. "Shut up, Silver!" Eve said, smacking the Arcanine in the snout with a tail.

Suddenly, Cinna went plummeting off the rock, as a Tyranitar swiped at her. "Yikes!" Eve yelped, reaching out with her long tails to connect with Cinna's.

 "Help, Silver!" Eve yelled.

"You think you could get away from me?" Tyranitar growled angrily.

Silver blasted him in the face with a Dragon Pulse in reply, sending the Armor Pokemon reeling backwards.

"How dare you!" Tyranitar roared, using Dragon Tail to swipe at Silver. Silver leapt back as the Dragon Tail attack took out a large chunk of rock.

Silver was at a Type disadvantage. He had to think smart.

Silver unleashed multiple Flamethrowers from his mouth to hit the areas around Tyranitar.

"Your aim is so pathetic, I feel sorry for you. I've never seen anyone so pathetic in my life!" Tyranitar snorted.

"Have you tried a mirror?" Silver asked.

Tyranitar spluttered, before Silver hit him with an Extreme Speed attack. The Armor Pokemon plummeted off the mountain once more.

"C'mon," Silver said, grunting as he pulled up Eve, who pulled up Cinna.

"Nice strategy back there," Cinna said.

"Thanks, but now we really need to get going."

They traveled down the mountain and into the forest.

After walking for a very long time, they heard the unmistakable cries of war.

Eve could see the distant bursts of flames burning on the battlefield, as Arcanines, Growlithes, Ninetales, and Vulpixes all battled, fire bursting from their mouths and scorching each other.

    Eve's heart sank.

"We need to stop this battle. How do we do that?" Eve asked.

"We interrupt and stop their battles. Prevent casualties," Cinna said. A light of determination Eve had never seen before in anyone had appeared in Cinna's eyes, as if she was finally eager to battle after hundreds of long, lonely years.

Cinna launched herself into battle, whirling into a blaze of flames.

Eve followed her example, as she hurried into battle. An Arcanine and Ninetales shot fire from their mouths.

Eve deflected both of the attacks from each other with a Fire Spin.

The flames went hurling into the grass. The two different species gaped at her, in shock.

"What are you doing? I could've killed him!" The Ninetales spluttered.

"I'm stopping this war," Eve answered. Eve turned, springing at an Arcanine to Body Slam him.

Slowly, but surely, the three of their combined efforts were slowing down the battle. The Fire Types began to cool off, hesitant now to attack.

"Listen up, everyone!" Cinna roared. Everyone stopped, falling silent at the authoritative tone. Cinna was perched high up on a slab of rock. The sunlight glinted off her, giving her a golden glow to her fur.
