Y/n's Pov:
"Hey Y/n?" Tanjiro calls out, "hm?" , "why did you become a demon slayer?" He asks, 'was he asking me this because of Mitsuri?'
Flash back-
"Hey Mitsuri! Why did you become a demon slayer?" Tanjiro questions, and then Mitsuri blushes as she puts her hands on her cheeks, 'oh boy...', "Oh! I become a demon slayer is because I wanted to find a husband! I just thought that many boys here as demon slayers are strong! And every girl's need a strong man! Am I right?" She rambles while blushing still. Tanjiro looks shocked for a moment, I let out a giggle seeing his shock expression.
End of flashback -
"Y/n?" Tanjiro said, "h-huh? Oh right," I think a bit. 'why did I become a slayer?', I put a hand on my chin still thinking, "I guess to protect people?" I said, "hm, Its sad" tanjiro says, "what is?" I questioned, "Your thirteen right?" He said and I nod, "that's young, you should be playing around with other kids, be happy, not killing demons and who knows? Maybe one day I will lose you" tanjiro says
'there was more younger people who were slayers and got killed, like Makomo'. "It's fine, plus if I never become a demon slayer I would have never met you" I smiled. He also returns the smile.
Time skip-
The next morning me and tanjiro was sitting on a rock on top of a mountain, "why are we here again?" I ask bored, "oh! Mitsuri told me that there's a weapon that can make me stronger!" He said, "oh, well I have to tell Kanamori that my sword broke" I said, "oh! Well you can tell him later! Let's go!" He grabs my arm and dragged me to who knows where
Tanjiro continued to drag me until he stopped when we heard voices, we both hid behind a tree to hear what the were saying. I gasp 'wait a minute, isn't that Muichiro!', "Tanjiro that's m-!", "hey isnt that your boyfriend?" Tanjiro said cutting be off, "w-what!?" I whisper-yelled.
"N-No?" I stutter, "oh...So that's muichiro tokito, the most hashira!" Tanjiro said, "give me the damn key" Muichiro said, "I'm not giving you anything!" A little kid said, "it seems like they are arguing" I mumbled, "what should we do?" Tanjiro ask and I shrugged.
"Give me the key" Muichiro demands, "no!" The kid said, suddenly Muichiro slapped him, making the kid fall down, Muichiro then picked up the kid by its collar, 'what the hell?' before muichiro can do anything more, tanjiro steps up and grabs muichiro wrist
"Hey! What do you think your doing?!" Tanjiro shouts, I also walked out the trees. "You get your hand off"Muichiro said, "Hey Muichiro can you put the kid down?" I said, "Y/n? What are you doing here?" He questions, "My sword broke, anyway can you please put the kid down?" I ask once again.
"You heard her! Put the kid down!" Tanjiro shouts, "your loud" Muichiro states, and then his elbows tanjiro in the gut. Making him fall down, "M-Muichiro!" I shout, "he was being loud" Muichiro shrugged, suddenly his eyes travels to the box on tanjiro back. Muichiro reached out his hand, "what's in that box" he said but then tanjiro slaps his hand away,
"Don't touch it!" He said. Muichiro takes a moment to look at his hand, tanjiro quickly snatched the kid off from muichiro hands. "You okay?" Tanjiro ask but the kid pushed him away, "I'm not giving the key to you even if you hurt me!" The kid said
"Stop being a baby and give me the key" Muichiro repeats, "I'm afraid that this will broke down!" The kid says, "just remake it" Muichiro said, but the kid still refused, then Muichiro started to say how this kid should stop being a big baby and that people like him can't do anything.
This made tanjiro furious, "sure he can't do this! But the only reason we fight demons is because people like him make swords! We people can't fight demons without a sword!" Tanjiro said, but before he can say more, Muichiro chops the side of his neck making tanjiro pass out.
'shit'
Muichiro turns to the kid, before he can ask once more, I step in front of muichiro, "alright Muichiro that's enough" I said, Muichiro then came closer to my face. "W-what are you doing?" I whisper, "Y/n, can you move out the way?" He whispered back in my ear. It sent me goosebumps. "I-I can't do that" I said
"Just take the stupid key! And leave us alone!" The kid said throwing the key towards Muichiro, and he catches it. "Let's go" Muichiro said grabbing my hand, "Uhm Muichiro! I-I be right back" I then ran away from Muichiro and ran back to the other two or three?
I saw Tanjiro, the kid, and Haganezuka 'damn, since when did he get so buff?'
Tanjiro started to wake up and Haganezuka started to run away, just after he ran away, tanjiro sprang up really fast, "woah, you shouldn't get up so fast" the kid said, "Haganezuka!" Tanjiro shouts, "h-huh?" The kids said surprise
"I smelled him! He was just here wasn't he?!" Tanjiro said, "What? N-No?" The kid responds, "oh" tanjiro mumbled, "wait where's that kid?!" Tanjiro said, I'm assuming he was talking about Muichiro, "Oh I gave him the key since he was bothering her" the kid said pointing at me
"You didn't have to" I said, "Well either way I had to give him the key because when he got closer to your face you blushed, I almost thought that you will pass out" he simply said...
"WHAT?!"
