Next hashira training

Y/n's Pov:

Today is the second day of Uzui training. I wonder who's next after Uzui training. Anyway, after running for a while I finally made it to Uzui training.

"Y/n!" Juro yells my name. "Hey" I waved, "Morning~" he smirks, "morning" I replied. "Want to run up the mountain together?" Juro says.

"Actually, I was planning on running with Tanjiro" I said and ran off to tanjiro, "Good morning, tanjiro!" I smiled. "Ah! Morning Y/n!" He smiles.

"Well let's get this training done" I said and he nods.

Time skip-

After training Uzui calls us over to eat lunch. "Here you go" hina, says smiling sweetly. "Thanks" I gave her a warm smile. "Ahhh! She's so cute! Uzui! Let's adopt her!!" Suma said. "Ehhh? Why would we want her?" Uzui said

I glared at Uzui then walk away. I decided to sit down next to tanjiro, he was talking to other slayers.

A few days have passed and well it's dark out here but we are still training. But this training is different, we all have to go against Uzui. Oh and wanna know the worst part? Me and tanjiro have to protect the Slayers.

Time skip-

After the training against Uzui, we all get to go home and take a rest. "Finally!" I yell and ran to giyuu estate.
"I'm home!" I said. "Why are you late?".
"AHH!, oh my gosh! Don't scare me like that!" I shout

"Oh, sorry" Giyuu said, "it's fine, but to answer your question, I was training"
"Okay, you should head to bed now" Giyuu said. "Yeah, but first I need a shower" I sigh. And he nodded.

Time skip to morning -

"Tanjiro!" I yell and he turns around, "Yes?" He said, "Wanna go and run up the mountain together?" I ask. "S-". "I can go with you" Juro said cutting off tanjiro.

"But I asked tanjiro" I said, "please~" Juro said, I rolled my eyes. "Fine, tanjiro you still wanna come?" I said. "Sure!" Tanjiro smiles. "Alright then, I'll race ya!" I said running off. "H-hey that's cheating!" Tanjiro yells.

"Better start running!" I chuckled.

After training, me and tanjiro decided to help Uzui wives with cleaning. "There you go!" Tanjiro said. "Thank you guys" hina said. "Wow! Y/n is so hard working!" Suma said. "Oh, thanks?" I said.

"Y/n! Can I adopt you!!" Suma cries, "oh! Uhm..". 'what do I say?!'

"Suma! Your making her nervous!" Makio said slapping Suma head. "Ow! Your so mean!" Suma cries.

I look at Makio and gave her a 'thank you' look. In return, she gave me a smile.

After a while, Hina and tanjiro started to talk. But I didn't really listen because I was deep in thought. 'i wonder who's the next hashira. I haven't seen muichiro in a while'

Time skip-

I made it home, finally I can go rest. Or at least I thought I will. Giyuu then walks towards me ,"Y/n, can you make simmered salmon with daikon?"
I just stared at him for a moment.

I sighed, "fine, but once I'm done with my shower" I said. "Okay, thanks" he replies. "Yeah"

I head to the kitchen and grab my ingredients. Then once I'm done with that I start cooking.

After a while of cooking, Giyuu comes in the kitchen. "It's almost ready" I said. And he nods. "And there" I mumbled to my self. I was about to grab a plate but Giyuu already had one in his hands.

'he's that hungry?'

Giyuu walks to me and hands me the plate, "Thanks" I chuckled. "What's so funny?" He says confused, "Your really that hungry huh?" I said, "yeah..." He said

I then gave him the plate with food.
"Thanks" he said giving a small smile, "Yep" I said, 'should I go to bed or stay here with him? He's going to be lonely so why not?'

I sat down beside Giyuu, "your not going to bed?" He ask. "Nope" I said popping the 'p'. "Alright then" he said.
I was also getting a bit hungry... I grabbed another pair of chopsticks

And stole Giyuu's food, he then looks at me with a frown. "What?" I said, "You ate my food" he sounds sad. 'he must been VERY hungry'

I laughed at his reaction, and gave him his food back. 'is he pouting?

Another day of Uzui training. I'm tired as fuck!! Because last night me and Giyuu stayed up talking, just hopefully this training can make me energized.

Time skip-

"Alright Kamado and Tomioka!" Uzui said. "You know you can call me by my first" I said, "Kamado and Tomioka! You two are ready for the next hashira!" Uzui exclaimed, and also ignoring what I just said.

"Really!" Tanjiro says, "Why yes of course!" Uzui cheers. "Wow! You hear that Y/n!!" Tanjiro said. I smiled and nodded. "Wait! Can you make me go to the next hashira?" Juro ask.

"No! Get back to work!" Uzui shouts and hits Juro. I tried my hardest not to laugh. "Well we should get going! Thank you Uzui!" Tanjiro says. "Safe travels!" The wives says.

"Bye!" Me and tanjiro said waving them off.

"Caw! Haven't seen you in a while!" Haro says. "Hello Haro!" I smiled. "Wipe that smile off your face! I was happy I didn't get to see you!". And that made my smile disappear immediately.

I looked over at tanjiro and his crow, 'how did Tanjiro get so lucky?'

After running for a while, me and tanjiro was talking, and I was to focus listening to tanjiro and watching the clouds that I didn't even notice that we were already at our hashira training estate.

'wait... isn't this?'

Tanjiro slides the door open..
