Caitlin Clark and Alex Roman's Post-Game Kiss Goes Viral

Following a very confusing weekend, Alex wasn't sure what exactly was going on in her life. All she knew was that she had one more match before she began training with the Olympic team and headed to Paris. Her sister, Isabella had flown out to see her because after getting home from soccer camp she was bored in Iowa and wanted to get away from their brother, which Alex honestly didn't blame her about.

When Alex picked up her sister from the airport she expected a hug, instead she received an over eager signing of, "Are you and Caitlin actually dating?"

Alex knew this was coming. She'd thought about what she'd say to her sister. Would she tell her the truth and pray that little Isabella could keep a secret, or would she lie like she did to Caitlin's parents?

Alex hadn't made her mind up yet so the answer to the question was that she wasn't going to answer her sister's question.

"Caitlin and I are – friends again," Alex signs.

"But people are saying you guys are dating," Bella signs, "They have a picture of you guys kissing. My camp counselors asked me about it."

"That is very unprofessional of them," Alex signs.

"Alex," Isabella signs, her face looking completely over it, "I saw you guys kissing!"

"How was camp?" Alex asks, speaking this time and Isabella rolls her eyes at Alex's attempt to change the subject.

"Boring," Isabella signs, "The highlight of camp was finding out that my sister is dating Caitlin Clark! Her ex-girlfriend!"

Alex sighs, if she knew that this was what was going to happen then she would have never invited Isabella to come stay with her for the week.

"You know I made the Olympic team," Alex says as she looks at her sister.

"Do you want a cookie?" Isabella asks verbally, her speech better from when Alex last spoke with her.

"Most people would think it's cool that their sister has the opportunity to win a gold medal," Alex states.

"Yeah, whatever we all knew you were going to do that. What we didn't know was that you were going to get back with Caitlin!" Bella exclaims.

Well now Alex knew she couldn't tell her sister the truth, that the thing between Alex and Caitlin wasn't real, but honestly Alex wasn't really sure if that was the truth because it was kind of feeling real and she knew she should probably address that little factoid with Caitlin but then that might create problems and Alex wasn't ready to face reality just yet.

"Fine Caitlin and I are back together," Alex says.

"Oh my god! Yes!" Bella exclaims throwing her hand in the air, "Can we go see her?"

"In Indiana?" Alex asks.

"Yeah," Bella responds, "Isn't she only two hours away."

"Only two hours," Alex mimics, "You're not the one driving."

"Can we please?" Bella pleads and Alex sighs.

"Sure," Alex agrees, "But only because I know she misses you."

Bella's face lights up, "Caitlin misses me?"

Alex nods her head, "Yeah, you know she loves you."

Bella smiles shyly.

And that is how Alex and Bella end up in Indiana for the weekend. Alex tells Caitlin she's in town and Caitlin tells her to come to the arena where the Fever had practice and media before the game. They walked into the facility and Caitlin was in the midst of doing an interview when Alex and Bella neared the court.
